The BougeRV Arch 2.0 200W N-Type Fiberglass Flexible Solar Panel is a 200W flexible panel built with N-type TOPCon cells rated at 25% efficiency and a 16-busbar (16BB) cell layout. A fiberglass backing keeps it at 8.8 lbs and 0.1 inches thick, and BougeRV rates it to bend up to 270° so it can follow a curved surface.
It's made for RVs, camper vans, travel trailers, boats, rooftop tents and off-grid cabins, where roof space and weight both matter. You can pair one panel with a charge controller and battery, connect it to a power station through an MC4 cable, or wire several together. It comes as a single panel or in packs of 2, 3, 4 and 8.
Arch 2.0 moves from P-type cells to N-type TOPCon cells with a rated solar cell efficiency of 25%. That means more power from the same sunlight, which helps when roof or deck space is limited.
Each cell uses 16 busbars instead of the conventional 10. BougeRV says this improves current flow and reduces resistive losses, so output stays more consistent through the day.
The temperature coefficient of Pmax is -0.35%/K. BougeRV's manual notes that panel output drops once the surface gets hotter than 77°F, so a lower coefficient means the panel gives up less power on summer roofs. The manual lists operating temperature limits of +14°F to +140°F.
The panel measures 53.0 x 30.9 x 0.1 inches and weighs 8.8 lbs, so it's easy to carry and mount and adds little weight to a vehicle or boat. BougeRV rates the fiberglass panel to bend up to 270°, letting it conform to curved RV roofs, boat decks and uneven surfaces.
Two 33.5 inch (850 mm) 14AWG leads come off the junction box with MC4 connectors. Run them to a charge controller through a solar extension cable, or to a power station with an MC4 cable. The series fuse rating is 15A and the maximum system voltage is 600V DC.
BougeRV's manual covers multi-purpose polyurethane sealant/adhesive and BougeRV Flexible Solar Panel Butyl Rubber Tape. With adhesive, you run a strip at least 0.25 inches (0.6 cm) wide every 6.5 inches (17 cm) on the back, leaving space for airflow. With tape, strips go across the back. Either way, the windward edge gets extra protection.
RV and camper roofs. Fit the panel to a curved RV, camper van or travel trailer roof and charge your house battery through a solar charge controller.
Boats. The light, low-profile panel suits decks and other spots on a boat where space matters and a rigid frame won't fit.
Rooftop camping. Add 200W of solar to a rooftop tent setup in a slim, flexible package.
Off-grid cabins and campsites. Use one panel or a multi-panel pack to charge a battery bank at a cabin or remote site.
Power station charging. Connect the MC4 leads to a power station with a matching cable. BougeRV notes that no charge controller is needed in that setup.
A rigid framed panel needs brackets and sits above the roof. The Arch 2.0 is 0.1 inches thick, bends to follow a curve and mounts with adhesive or tape, so it suits vehicles and boats where a frame won't fit or where every pound counts. If you have a flat rack and want to tilt panels toward the sun, a rigid panel may be the simpler choice.
BougeRV built Arch 2.0 as an upgrade from P-type cells and 10-busbar layouts. With 25% efficient N-type TOPCon cells, 16BB and a -0.35%/K temperature coefficient, it's designed to produce more from the same area, including in heat.
One panel gives you 200W for a small system. The 2, 3, 4 and 8 panel packs let you build a larger array with matching panels, wired in series to raise voltage or in parallel with a solar parallel connector to raise current.
BougeRV's manual says to choose a solar charge controller based on system power, voltage and current, and the controller's input rating must exceed the array's. A wrong choice can cause hot spot damage and lowers efficiency. Size cables for the current to prevent overheating or energy loss. With a power station, its PV input voltage and current limit how much it takes from the panel.
Clean the front and back of the panel and the roof with water and a damp cloth first. After placing the panel, press it down firmly with foam and let adhesive sit for 48 hours. Keep the panel unshaded and clean, since shade, dust and bird droppings cause a hot spot effect that can damage the panel over time.
Max power voltage (Vmp) is 24V and max power current (Imp) is 8.34A. Open circuit voltage (Voc) is 28V and short circuit current (Isc) is 8.75A. Each rating is ±5%.
Yes. Any cable with an MC4 connector can connect to the panel. Adapter cables for Anderson, DC5521, DC5525 or DC7909 power station inputs are not included in the package.
Light intensity, panel angle, surface temperature above 77°F, shading and dust all reduce output. BougeRV's manual also puts PWM controller conversion efficiency at 75% and MPPT above 90%, and a power station's PV input limits cap what you see.
Wire panels in series to produce the voltage you need, or in parallel with a solar parallel connector to produce the current you need. Make sure the total stays within your controller's input voltage and rated current.
BougeRV lists a 5-year material and workmanship warranty for the Arch 2.0 200W panel.
The 2 PCS, 3 PCS, 4 PCS and 8 PCS options include that number of panels.
The BougeRV Arch 2.0 200W N-Type Fiberglass Flexible Solar Panel combines 25% efficient N-type TOPCon cells, a 16BB layout and an 8.8 lb fiberglass build that bends to fit curved roofs.
