The BougeRV Arch Pro 100W 12V/24V N-Type TOPCon Flexible Solar Panel is a 100W curved panel with 16-busbar N-type TOPCon cells rated at 25% efficiency. Its dual-layer fiberglass build weighs 4.6 lbs (2.1 kg), is 2.5 mm thick and bends up to 270°, and BougeRV lists it as compatible with 12V and 24V systems.
The Arch Pro is built for places where shade, weight and curved surfaces get in the way: boat decks, RV roofs, rooftop tents, Jeeps and camper vans. It's also made for off-grid cabins and tiny homes. Buy one panel or a 2, 3 or 4 panel pack, and use it with a charge controller and battery or with a power station that takes MC4 input.
Partial shade from a mast, roof rack or tree branch is common on boats and vehicles. The Arch Pro has 27 bypass diodes, and BougeRV says they reduce power loss under partial shade by isolating only the shaded cells, so the rest of the panel keeps producing in mixed light.
The 16BB N-type TOPCon cells have a rated conversion efficiency of 25%. BougeRV says they offer higher efficiency, a longer lifespan and better reliability than traditional PERC panels, which helps when you're working with limited roof or deck space.
Sixteen busbars shorten the path current travels across each cell, reduce resistance losses and spread current more evenly. BougeRV says this gives steadier output across different installations.
A dual-layer fiberglass composite protects the cells from cracking under impact, pressure, hail and vibration, including on bumpy roads. The panel bends up to 270° to fit curved surfaces of different radii, from boat decks to RV roofs and Jeep tops.
The panel measures 38.3 x 24.1 x 0.1 inches (974 x 612 x 2.5 mm) and weighs 4.6 lbs, so it's easy to carry, handle and install, and it adds little weight to a vehicle or boat.
BougeRV rates the panel IP68 and states it withstands wind loads of 2400 Pa and snow loads of 5400 Pa. Operating temperature limits are -40°F to +185°F (-40°C to +85°C).
Boats. Mount the panel on a curved deck where rigging and masts cast shifting shade, and let the bypass diodes keep the rest of the panel working.
RVs and camper vans. Add 100W to a curved roof with little added weight, and grow the array with additional panels as your needs change.
Rooftop tents and overlanding. The thin, light panel fits tent and vehicle rooftops where space and weight are tight.
Off-grid cabins and tiny homes. Use a multi-panel pack with a charge controller and battery bank for a small off-grid system.
A rigid framed panel needs brackets and sits above the mounting surface. The Arch Pro is 2.5 mm thick, bends to follow a curve and mounts with adhesive, so it fits boats and vehicles where a frame won't. If you have a flat rack and want to tilt panels toward the sun, a rigid panel may be simpler.
BougeRV designed the Arch Pro around N-type TOPCon cells, which it says deliver higher efficiency, longer lifespan and better reliability than traditional PERC cells. Add 16 busbars and 27 bypass diodes, and the Arch Pro is aimed at real conditions where shade and limited space are common.
One panel adds 100W for a small setup. The packs give you matching panels to wire in series for higher voltage or in parallel, with a solar parallel connector, for higher current.
The panel's max power voltage (Vmp) is 32.4V and its open circuit voltage (Voc) is 37.8V. BougeRV's manual says to choose a solar charge controller based on system power, voltage and current, with an input rating that exceeds the array's, to avoid hot spot damage and lost efficiency. Make sure the controller's rated current and input voltage range can handle the total output of all your panels, and size cables for the current.
Clean the panel and roof with water and a damp cloth. Apply multi-purpose polyurethane sealant/adhesive in strips at least 0.25 inches (0.6 cm) wide every 6.5 inches (17 cm) on the back, leaving space for airflow. Press the panel down firmly with foam, add adhesive to the windward edge and let it sit for 48 hours.
Maximum power is 100W. Vmp is 32.4V, Imp is 3.1A, Voc is 37.8V and Isc is 3.2A, each ±5%. The series fuse rating is 15A and the maximum system voltage is 1000V DC.
Yes. Any cable with an MC4 connector can connect to the panel's 33.5 inch (850 mm) 14AWG leads. Adapter cables for Anderson, DC5521, DC5525 or DC7909 inputs are not included, and no charge controller is needed with a power station.
Light intensity, panel angle, surface temperature above 77°F, shade and dust all reduce output. BougeRV's manual puts PWM controller conversion efficiency at 75% and MPPT above 90%, and a power station's PV input limits also cap what it accepts.
BougeRV lists a 5-year material and workmanship warranty for the Arch Pro.
The 2 PCS, 3 PCS and 4 PCS options include that number of panels.
The BougeRV Arch Pro 100W 12V/24V N-Type TOPCon Flexible Solar Panel pairs 25% efficient 16BB cells and 27 bypass diodes with a 4.6 lb fiberglass build that bends to fit boats, RVs and rooftop tents.
