The BougeRV CRD2 V2.0 52QT is a dual zone compressor fridge with 52 quarts (49 L, 1.7 cu ft) of space split into two compartments with separate temperature control. Each zone sets from -4°F to 68°F (-20°C to 20°C), so you can freeze meat in one side and chill drinks and produce in the other. BougeRV shows it holding 72 cans of 12 oz cola, 39 bottles of 33.8 oz water or five 1 gallon milk jugs.
It rolls on wheels with a telescopic handle and runs on 12V or 24V DC, 100-240V AC or the 240Wh LiFePO4 battery that slides into its battery compartment. It's built for road trips, car camping, van life and longer stays outdoors. Choose Fridge with Battery, Fridge Only (battery not included), or the 100W or 200W Solar-Powered Fridge Kit.
Each compartment has its own lid and setting. Use the plus and minus keys for the left zone, then press the settings key once to switch to the right zone. BougeRV shows each zone working as a freezer, working as a fridge or switched off.
BougeRV rates the 52QT at up to 18 hours on its 240Wh LiFePO4 battery, tested with no load, no pre-cooling, 77°F ambient and a 32°F target in ECO mode. The battery can be recharged in the fridge from the AC adapter or car charger at up to 90W, from solar at 11-32V and 10A up to 150W, by USB-C at up to 100W, or from your car through its XT-60i port at up to 100W.
MAX mode runs the compressor at high speed for fast cooling, and ECO mode runs it slower to save energy. The manual rates MAX at 55W and ECO at 40W, with a 60W rated power input, and BougeRV lists an ECO draw of 35W during stable operation. BougeRV states the fridge uses far less than 1kWh per day in either mode, and it can cool to 0°F even in 90°F heat.
Rugged wheels, a retractable aluminum handle and aluminum carry handles help you move the 46.74 lb fridge from your vehicle to camp. BougeRV advises pulling the handle smoothly and not using it to move the fridge over uneven ground.
The noise is rated at ≤45dB, and BougeRV states it stays at ≤35dB in ECO mode during steady-state operation. The BougeRV app lets you check and adjust both zones from up to 33 ft away, and it's where you change the battery protection level.
The CRD2 V2.0 has reversible lids, a built-in LED light, two storage baskets, a drain plug, a bottle opener and an IPX4 rating. Power-off memory restores your last settings after a power cut.
Car camping. Roll the fridge to your site and run it on the battery, with a solar kit to recharge during the day.
Van life. Keep a freezer zone and a fridge zone in one box and manage both from your phone.
Road trips. Run it on 12V or 24V DC while you drive, with three-level battery protection guarding your vehicle battery.
Family outings. Pack drinks, snacks and frozen treats and wheel them from the car to the picnic area.
An ice cooler can't freeze food, and its temperature rises as the ice melts. The CRD2 V2.0 holds two set temperatures, so frozen food stays frozen and fresh food stays dry.
Fridge Only runs from 12V or 24V DC or an AC outlet and does not include a battery. Fridge with Battery adds the 240Wh LiFePO4 battery for running the fridge away from vehicle or wall power.
The 100W and 200W Solar-Powered Fridge Kits pair the fridge and 240Wh battery with a folding solar panel so you can recharge at camp. The battery's solar input accepts up to 150W.
Let the fridge sit flat for 12 hours after unpacking before you power it on. Keep it level while it runs, under 5° of tilt for long-term use, and leave at least 7.9 in behind it and 3.9 in at the sides for ventilation. BougeRV advises turning it off or disconnecting it when you turn off your engine, since it could otherwise drain your car's battery.
On 12V the fridge cuts out at 11.1V on High, 10.1V on Medium and 9.6V on Low. It's factory set to Medium, and the level can only be changed in the BougeRV app.
Yes. BougeRV shows each zone set to freezer, fridge or power off.
Up to 18 hours on the 240Wh battery, based on BougeRV's test with no load, no pre-cooling, 77°F ambient and a 32°F target in ECO mode.
32°F, MAX mode and Medium battery protection. Hold the power and settings buttons together for 3 seconds to return to them.
BougeRV covers the CRD2 V2.0 with a 2 year limited warranty.
Fridge with Battery adds the 240Wh Detachable Battery. The 100W Solar-Powered Fridge Kit adds the 240Wh battery and a 100W solar panel, and the 200W Solar-Powered Fridge Kit adds the 240Wh battery and a 200W solar panel. Fridge Only does not include a battery.
The BougeRV CRD2 V2.0 52QT Dual Zone 12V Portable Fridge gives you 49 L split into a fridge and a freezer, wheels and a telescopic handle, app control and up to 18 hours on its 240Wh battery under BougeRV's test conditions.
