The BougeRV CRD2 V2.0 61QT is a dual zone compressor fridge with wheels and a battery compartment. Its 61 quarts (57 L, about 2.0 cu ft) are split into two compartments with independent temperature control, and each one sets from -4°F to 68°F (-20°C to 20°C). Run one side as a freezer and the other as a fridge at the same time. BougeRV shows it holding 89 cans of 12 oz cola, 48 bottles of 33.8 oz water or seven 1 gallon milk jugs.
It's made for longer road trips, car camping and RV travel. The fridge rolls on wheels with a telescopic handle and runs on 12V or 24V DC, 100-240V AC, or BougeRV's 240Wh LiFePO4 battery in its built-in battery compartment. Choose Fridge with Battery, Fridge Only (battery not included), or the 100W or 200W Solar-Powered Fridge Kit.
Each zone has its own lid and temperature. Set the left zone with the plus and minus keys, then tap the settings key to move to the right zone. BougeRV shows each zone working as a freezer, working as a fridge or switched off.
On the 240Wh LiFePO4 battery, BougeRV rates the 61QT at up to 16 hours with no load, no pre-cooling, 77°F ambient and a 32°F target in ECO mode. With the battery in its compartment you can recharge it from the fridge's AC adapter or car charger at up to 90W, from solar at 11-32V and 10A up to 150W, by USB-C at up to 100W, or from your car through the XT-60i port at up to 100W.
MAX mode cools quickly at a higher compressor speed, and ECO mode runs slower to save power. The manual rates MAX at 55W and ECO at 40W, with a 60W rated power input, and BougeRV lists an ECO draw of 35W during stable operation. BougeRV states the fridge uses far less than 1kWh per day and can cool to 0°F even in 90°F heat.
At 48.5 lb, the fridge is easier to move on its rugged wheels and retractable aluminum handle, with aluminum carry handles for lifting. Pull the handle smoothly, and BougeRV advises not using it to move the fridge over uneven ground.
BougeRV rates the noise at ≤45dB and states it stays at ≤35dB in ECO mode during steady-state operation. Use the BougeRV app to check and set both zones from up to 33 ft away and to change the battery protection level.
You also get reversible lids, a built-in LED light, two storage baskets, a drain plug and a bottle opener. Power-off memory brings back your last settings after a power cut.
RV travel. Add 57 L of fridge and freezer space alongside your RV's own fridge.
Longer road trips. Run on 12V or 24V DC while you drive, with three-level protection for your vehicle battery.
Car camping. Roll it to your site, run it on the 240Wh battery and recharge from a solar kit during the day.
Group outings. Pack drinks for the group in one zone and frozen food in the other.
An ice cooler can't hold a freezer temperature, and the ice takes up space and melts. The CRD2 V2.0 61QT keeps two set temperatures with no ice at all.
Fridge Only runs from DC vehicle power or an AC outlet and does not include a battery. Fridge with Battery adds the 240Wh LiFePO4 battery so the fridge can run on its own at camp.
The Solar-Powered Fridge Kits add a 100W or 200W folding solar panel to the fridge and battery for recharging off-grid. The battery's solar input accepts up to 150W.
After unpacking, let the fridge sit flat for 12 hours before powering it on. Keep it level while it runs, under 5° of tilt for long-term use. Leave at least 7.9 in of space behind it and 3.9 in at the sides. BougeRV advises turning it off or disconnecting it when you turn off your engine, since it could otherwise drain your car's battery.
On 12V, High cuts out at 11.1V, Medium at 10.1V and Low at 9.6V. The fridge ships set to Medium, and you change the level in the BougeRV app.
Up to 16 hours, according to BougeRV's test with no load, no pre-cooling, 77°F ambient and a 32°F target in ECO mode.
Yes. BougeRV shows each zone set to freezer, fridge or power off.
Hold the power and settings buttons together for 3 seconds. The fridge returns to 32°F, MAX mode and Medium battery protection.
BougeRV covers the CRD2 V2.0 with a 2 year limited warranty.
Fridge with Battery adds the 240Wh Detachable Battery. The 100W Solar-Powered Fridge Kit adds the 240Wh battery and a 100W solar panel, and the 200W Solar-Powered Fridge Kit adds the 240Wh battery and a 200W solar panel. Fridge Only does not include a battery.
The BougeRV CRD2 V2.0 61QT Dual Zone 12V Portable Fridge gives you 57 L in two independent zones, wheels and a telescopic handle, app control and up to 16 hours on its 240Wh battery under BougeRV's test conditions. If you'd like help choosing between the 52QT and 61QT sizes or picking a solar kit, the Outbound Power team is happy to help.
