The BougeRV CRPRO20 21 Quart 12V Portable Car Fridge Freezer White is a compressor fridge from BougeRV's CRPRO line, finished in white with a light gray top. It holds 21 quarts (20 liters, 0.70 cu. ft.), sets anywhere from -8°F to 50°F, and runs on 12V or 24V DC or on 110-240V AC with the included adapter.
At 11.9 in tall, it's sized for car camping, weekend road trips and cargo areas with limited height. If you want cold drinks and fresh food without hauling ice, and you'd like a separate spot for small items, this compact CRPRO model is worth a look.
With the cabinet empty and the fridge in MAX mode, BougeRV rates it to cool from 77°F to 32°F in 15 minutes and from 77°F to -4°F in 50 minutes. You can switch it on as you pack and have cold space ready quickly.
Press plus or minus to set the temperature, and the fridge saves your setting after four seconds. The display shows the actual temperature inside, so you can watch it pull down to your setting. Use it as a fridge for drinks and produce or as a freezer for items like ice cream.
BougeRV rates ECO mode at 36W to save energy and MAX mode at 45W for faster cooling. The compressor cycles once the cabinet reaches your setting, and BougeRV states the fridge uses far less than 1 kWh per day.
A battery monitor switches the fridge off when the supply voltage drops to the level you choose. On 12V, High cuts out at 11.3V and Medium at 10.1V. On 24V, High, Medium and Low cut out at 24.6V, 22.3V and 21.3V. The fridge restarts two minutes after the voltage reaches the cut-in level, and BougeRV suggests Medium or Low when you run it from a power station or other battery.
Beside the control panel, a separate storage compartment with its own lid keeps small items out of the cold cabinet. A safety tie-down point gives you a place to strap the fridge down in your vehicle.
The box holds a 6.56 ft AC adapter, a 10.82 ft 12V/24V DC cord and a short 1.64 ft 12V/24V DC cord. BougeRV notes that the fridge has fuse protection built in.
BougeRV rates the noise at 45 dB or less. If power drops out, the fridge returns to its previous on or off state and mode when power comes back, so you don't need to set it again.

An ice cooler needs fresh ice and loses space to it. The CRPRO20 uses a compressor to hold the temperature you set, and it can freeze down to -8°F. In exchange, it needs a DC socket, a battery or an outlet to run.
Fridge Only is enough if you'll power it from your vehicle, a power station or the wall. Fridge + Battery adds a BougeRV battery so you can run the fridge away from your vehicle. BougeRV doesn't publish a runtime for this pairing, so ask our team before you plan around one.

The fridge measures 23.7 x 12.6 x 11.9 in outside, and the cabinet measures 13.8 x 9.8 x 8.9 in inside. It weighs 23.8 lb. Leave at least 7.9 in of space behind it and 3.9 in at the sides for ventilation.
After unpacking, lay the fridge flat for 24 hours before you switch it on, and wipe it inside and out with a damp cloth. Keep the tilt under 5° for long-term running and under 45° for short periods. Keep it out of the rain, and turn it off or unplug it when you shut off the engine so it doesn't drain your car battery.
