The BougeRV CRPRO30 30 Quart 12V Portable Car Fridge Freezer Black is a compressor fridge freezer in a charcoal body with a gray top band. It holds 30 quarts (29 liters, 1.02 cu. ft.), which BougeRV says fits up to 40 cans, and it sets anywhere from -8°F to 50°F. It runs on 12V or 24V DC or on 110-240V AC with the included adapter.

30 Quarts With a Removable Divider

The cabinet measures 13.8 x 9.8 x 13.0 in inside, tall enough for bottles to stand upright. A removable divider splits it into two sections, so you can keep drinks apart from food or take the divider out for larger items.

Cools From 77°F to 32°F in 15 Minutes

In MAX mode with an empty cabinet, BougeRV rates the compressor to cool from 77°F to 32°F in 15 minutes and from 77°F to -4°F in 50 minutes. Set it as a fridge or as a freezer anywhere in the -8°F to 50°F range.

ECO Mode at 45W and MAX Mode at 60W

ECO mode runs at a rated 45W to save energy, and MAX mode runs at 60W for faster cooling. Once the cabinet reaches your setting, the compressor cycles, and BougeRV states the fridge uses far less than 1 kWh per day.

Interior Light, Bottle Opener and Storage Box

An interior light helps you find what you need after dark. A separate storage box with its own latched lid sits at the control end, and a bottle opener is built in for drinks at camp.

Safety Tie-Down Point and End Handles

A safety tie-down point lets you strap the fridge down in your vehicle. Handles at each end give you a grip for lifting the 27.55 lb fridge in and out.

Three-Level Battery Protection

The battery monitor shuts the fridge off when supply voltage drops to your chosen level. On 12V, High cuts out at 11.3V and Medium at 10.1V. On 24V, High, Medium and Low cut out at 24.6V, 22.3V and 21.3V. The fridge restarts two minutes after the voltage climbs back to the cut-in level.

Size and Placement

Outside, the fridge measures 23.7 x 12.6 x 16.1 in. Leave at least 7.9 in of space behind it and 3.9 in at the sides for ventilation. Keep the tilt under 5° for long-term running and under 45° for short periods, and keep it out of the rain.

Before the First Trip

Lay the fridge flat for 24 hours after unpacking before you power it on, then wipe the inside and outside with a damp cloth. Use Medium or Low battery protection with a power station or other battery, and turn the fridge off or unplug it when the engine is off.
