The BougeRV Sunflow 60A MPPT Solar Charge Controller 12V/24V is built for bigger 12V and 24V off-grid systems. It charges at up to 60A from as much as 900W of solar on a 12V battery or 1800W on a 24V battery, with up to 100V of PV input.
BougeRV designed it for RVs, overlanding vehicles, camper vans and other high-capacity setups. It works with LiFePO4 and lead-acid batteries, offers Bluetooth monitoring and a 20A load output, and includes a temperature sensor for cold-weather charging protection.
With 60A of charging current, the controller handles up to 900W at 12V and 1800W at 24V. PV input can reach 100V, with protection at 95V and recovery at 90V, and the MPPT operating range runs from 2V above battery voltage up to 72V.
BougeRV's manual rates MPPT tracking efficiency above 99% and charging conversion efficiency above 95%, so more of your panels' output reaches the battery.
Set charging anywhere from 0 to 60A in 1A steps. A smaller battery bank can take a lower limit, and a large bank can use the full 60A.
Pick SLD, GEL, FLD, LI (LiFePO4) or USE for a custom profile. Lead-acid modes add automatic 12V/24V detection and temperature compensation. In LI mode you select 12V or 24V and can adjust boost, reconnect and over-discharge voltages.
Turn on lithium low-temperature charging protection and connect the included sensor, and the controller pauses charging at 32°F (0°C) until the battery warms to 35.6°F (2°C). It ships with this setting off.
Built-in Bluetooth reaches up to 33 ft without internet, and the BougeRV app shows live data and settings. The controller keeps 200 days of history and has TTL and RS485 ports, with CAN (RV-C protocol) listed as optional.

A lower-amp controller supports a smaller array. The 60A model gives you room for up to 1800W at 24V and adjustable current down to 0A, so it can grow with your system.
A PWM controller is the simpler type for panels matched to battery voltage. This MPPT controller accepts up to 100V of PV input, so it can work with higher-voltage panel arrays.
Connect the battery first and the solar array second, and disconnect in reverse. Keep the array's open-circuit voltage under 100V and its current within the 60A rating. The manual's wiring diagram shows a fuse on the battery line. Keep the controller dry and ventilate the battery area.
