The EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra Inverter is the power unit of the DELTA Pro Ultra home backup system. It delivers 7200W of pure sine wave AC power at 120V and 240V through six outlets, accepts up to 5.6kW of solar, and charges from a wall outlet, a generator or an EV charger. It must be used with at least one DELTA Pro Ultra Battery, sold separately.
It suits homeowners planning whole-home backup, solar owners who want storage, and DELTA Pro Ultra owners adding a second or third inverter.
Six AC outlets share 7200W at 120/240V and 60Hz: four 120V 20A outlets, one 120V 30A outlet and one 120V/240V 30A outlet. EcoFlow rates peak output at 10.8kW for 10 seconds. Two 100W USB-C ports, two 12W USB-A ports and a 378W 12V DC output cover smaller devices.
On grid power, the inverter passes power through to your appliances and switches to stored power if the grid fails. The online UPS outlets switch over in 0 ms and the backup UPS outlets in under 20 ms.
The High-PV input accepts 80–450V at up to 15A and 4000W, and the Low-PV input accepts 30–150V at up to 15A and 1600W. A PV switch turns solar charging on and off. The inverter works with EcoFlow panels and with standard third-party panels that use MC4 connectors.
The AC charging input takes 100–120V at 15A or 200–240V at 12.5A, and a speed switch or the EcoFlow app sets the rate. The 30A power input/output port connects to a generator, or to an EV charger through the EcoFlow EV X-Stream Adapter at up to 7.2kW. Solar can charge at the same time as a wall outlet or a generator.
Each DELTA Pro Ultra Battery stores 6kWh (6,144Wh) in LFP cells, and one inverter supports up to 5 batteries for about 30kWh. With the EcoFlow Smart Home Panel 2, up to three inverters and 15 batteries reach 21.6kW of output, 16.8kW of solar input and about 90kWh.
EcoFlow X-Cooling keeps the inverter working efficiently under heavy loads to extend its lifespan. It charges and discharges from -4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C), and the batteries heat themselves below 32°F (0°C). Noise stays under 30 dB in most scenarios, and the inverter is rated IP54 with its protective covers closed.
The EcoFlow app connects by Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and the US model adds 4G with an EcoFlow 4G Dongle PPS (NA). Set charge and discharge limits, schedule charging, keep a backup reserve, and use TOU mode to charge when rates are low and discharge when they are high. Storm Guard charges to 100% when severe weather is forecast.
Whole-home backup. Connect up to three inverters to the EcoFlow Smart Home Panel 2, a sub panel with breakers for your backup loads. EcoFlow says a licensed electrician should do the installation.
Transfer switch backup. Pair one set with a 30 Amp Transfer Switch, or link two sets through the EcoFlow 50 Amp Hub to a 50 Amp Transfer Switch. Add an inlet box if your transfer switch doesn't have one built in.
Solar storage. Store energy from high- and low-voltage solar strings. Under NEC rules, PV circuits on a building need a rapid shutdown function and installation by a qualified electrician or installer.
Sensitive equipment. Run electronics that can't lose power from the 0 ms online UPS outlets. For a refrigerator that stores medicine, set the AC output to Always On in the app.
Versus adding more inverters. One inverter gives 7200W, 5.6kW of solar input and up to 5 batteries. Three inverters on a Smart Home Panel 2 give 21.6kW, 16.8kW of solar input and up to 15 batteries.
Versus a gas generator. A gas generator needs fuel and has to run outdoors. The DELTA Pro Ultra is built for indoor use, runs under 30 dB in most scenarios and stores energy from the grid or the sun.
Versus an all-in-one power station. An all-in-one unit has its battery built in. The DELTA Pro Ultra keeps them separate, so you can start with one 6kWh battery and add more.

Yes. Connect the generator to the AC charging input port or the power input/output port, and make sure the generator's power is higher than the inverter's. EcoFlow lists its AC Generator Charging Adapter, sold separately, as required for generator charging.
Yes. EcoFlow recommends panels of 400W or more with MC4 connectors, wired in series within 30–150V for the Low-PV input or 80–450V for the High-PV input. If you wire in parallel, keep total current within 15A.
EcoFlow lists a 5-year warranty for the inverter. For the batteries, EcoFlow says leaving them uncharged or unused for more than 6 months voids the warranty.
