The Epoch Batteries EZGO RXV Lithium Battery Mounting Bracket BB51105-RXV1 Secures an Epoch Big Box Battery in the RXV Battery Tub

The BB51105-RXV1 is Epoch's RXV-specific mounting bracket for the Epoch Big Box (BB51105) lithium battery. Once the lead-acid batteries are out, it gives the compact Big Box battery a secure hold-down point in the emptied RXV battery tub.

It's for EZGO RXV owners and installers replacing lead-acid with lithium. Epoch lists it for EZGO RXV models only, in a black finish.

The bracket bridges the gap between the RXV's factory battery compartment and the compact footprint of a single Big Box battery. It isn't a universal tray that has to be bent, cut or forced into position.

For compatible RXV trays, Epoch designed it as a drop-in mount that avoids cutting the plastic battery tub, welding custom mounts or improvising with loose straps.

A battery that shifts in the tray can stress its case, damage wiring and pull on gauge harnesses. Holding the Big Box battery in place helps reduce that movement over bumps, hills and rough paths.

Epoch RXV1 Bracket Versus Straps and Bungee Cords

Epoch doesn't recommend bungee cords, ratchet straps, wood blocks or zip ties as a permanent lithium battery hold-down, because straps can loosen, stretch, fray or shift over time. A rigid bracket gives a more secure install.

Epoch RXV1 Bracket Versus an EZGO TXT Bracket

The TXT, Express and Valor use different tray layouts from the RXV and need different mounting solutions.

Confirm Your Cart and Battery

Check that your cart is an EZGO RXV and your battery is the compatible Epoch Big Box (BB51105-style) battery. It isn't for GC2-style modular multi-battery kits unless Epoch confirms fit. Epoch lists no model years, metal grade or coating spec.

Test-Fit Before Final Tightening

Put the bracket, battery, cables, charger leads, gauge wiring and converter leads in position first. Check cable bend radius, terminal clearance, charger airflow and service access, then tighten. On lifted, off-road or heavily loaded carts, inspect the bracket and fasteners regularly.

Epoch doesn't publish a hardware list, so confirm what comes with your order and use hardware suited to your RXV tray and battery.
