Epoch Batteries heavy-duty power distribution block pair with the M8 bolts beside them

The Epoch Batteries Heavy-Duty Power Distribution Block Gives Each Accessory Its Own Connection Point

The Epoch E-6020 is a pair of distribution blocks with fastening hardware for clean DC lithium battery wiring. Each block has four threaded connection points, so your inverter, solar charge controller, DC-DC charger, battery monitor and fuse panel don't all stack on one battery terminal.

It's made for RV battery compartments, marine house banks, solar and off-grid systems, golf carts and utility vehicles in 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V DC systems that are properly fused and configured.

Epoch Batteries Heavy-Duty Power Distribution Block Features

Four Connection Points per Block

Each block gives you four threaded connection points for properly sized ring terminals and lugs, so accessory leads stay separated instead of piled onto one post.

One Block for Positive, One for Negative

The blocks come as a pair. Each one is single-polarity only, so use one for positive and one for negative and keep them electrically isolated.

M8 Hardware

The blocks use M8 hardware. They don't fit the Essentials 12V 334Ah MC, whose terminals are M10.

Easier to Inspect and Service

Separate branch connections are easier to identify, inspect, tighten and troubleshoot, including after travel or vibration.

Real-World Applications

RV compartments. Organize RV battery compartments and off-grid house-power wiring.

Marine house banks. Organize electronics and boat accessory circuits.

Solar and off-grid. Lay out charge controller and inverter wiring cleanly.

Golf carts and utility vehicles. Tidy up mobile DC accessory wiring.

Practical Comparison

Distribution Block Versus Stacked Ring Terminals

Stacking several ring terminals on one battery post can keep them from sitting flat, which may increase resistance, cause voltage drop, loosen over time and create heat under high loads. The block gives each accessory a dedicated connection point instead.

Distribution Block Versus a Fuse or Breaker

The block organizes connections but isn't a fuse or breaker. Each branch circuit still needs the correct fuse or breaker, placed as close to the power source as practical and sized for the wire and load.

Buyer Guidance

Check Terminal and Lug Size

Confirm your battery terminals take M8 hardware. Use copper lugs or ring terminals that match the included hardware and the wire gauge your load needs. Each lug should sit flat with no forcing, bending or loose fit.

This May Be A Good Fit If

  • Several accessories share one battery post today
  • Your battery terminals take M8 hardware
  • You want separate positive and negative take-off points
  • Each branch circuit has its own fuse or breaker

Common Questions

Will It Fit the Essentials 12V 334Ah MC?

No. The blocks use M8 hardware, and that battery's terminals are M10.

What Is the Maximum Amperage?

Epoch doesn't state one. Size the installation around your battery, cable gauge, fuse or breaker rating and loads. For large inverters, trolling motors or golf carts, confirm current limits with our team or a qualified DC electrical installer before you energize the system.

How Should I Protect the Connections?

Route cables cleanly and secure them against vibration. Cover exposed live terminals with insulating boots, covers or compartment barriers as your RV, marine, solar or vehicle standards require, and keep loose tools and metal objects away from energized terminals.
