Firman 30' Retractable Extension Cord Reel With Lighted Triple Tap Features

30-Foot Retractable Cord

The cord pulls out to the length you need and latches in place, then retracts when you're done.

12-Gauge Copper Cord

The 12/3 SJTW cord has 12-gauge copper wiring rated 125V, 15 Amps and 1875 W, so you know exactly what it can carry.

Lighted Triple Tap

The LED in the triple tap shows the cord has power and makes the outlets easier to find in low light.

Thermal Circuit Breaker

If the reel is overloaded, its thermal circuit breaker opens. Unplug your devices and press the reset button on the housing to restore power.

Wall, Ceiling or Portable

The included bracket mounts to a wall stud or ceiling joist. The reel lifts out for portable use, and the housing doubles as a carrying handle.

Real-World Applications

Garages. Mount the reel near the garage door opener outlet and pull down power for projects.

Workshops. Keep a cord over your bench that retracts out of the way.

Job sites. Lift the reel off its bracket and carry it to where you need power.

Practical Comparison

Firman 2035 Versus Firman 2015 Utility Cord

The 2015 is a 25-foot, 14-gauge cord with the same 15 Amp and 1875 watt rating, coiled by hand with a storage strap. The 2035 gives you 30 feet of 12-gauge cord on a mountable reel.

Firman 2035 Versus a Standard Extension Cord

A standard cord is coiled by hand and often ends up on the floor. The 2035 retracts into its reel.

Buyer Guidance

Mounting Needs

Mount the reel within 2 feet (0.6 m) of a grounded outlet. Drywall won't hold its weight, so fasten the bracket to a wall stud or ceiling joist with suitable screws.

Safe Use

Plug it into a 120V grounded outlet, and never remove the ground pin. Don't use it in damp or wet areas or as permanent wiring, and store it indoors. Keep the combined load within 15 Amps.

This May Be A Good Fit If

• You want a retractable cord in your garage or shop
• You have a stud or joist near a grounded outlet
• Your devices stay within 15 Amps combined
