Practical Comparison
Firman 1605 Versus the Firman 1610 Adapter
The 1610 works the other way, with a TT-30P plug and an L5-30R outlet, and it's also rated for 3750W. Choose the 1605 when you're plugging into an L5-30 outlet and need a TT-30R outlet for your RV.
Firman 1605 Versus Plugging the RV In Directly
An RV cord with a TT-30P plug needs a TT-30R outlet. If your generator's connection is an L5-30 outlet instead, the 1605 provides the TT-30R.
Buyer Guidance
Check Your Generator's Outlet
The adapter's plug is an L5-30P, so your generator needs an outlet that accepts it. The other end is a TT-30R outlet for your RV's cord.
Keep Loads Within 3750W
Firman rates the adapter for 3750W. Keep the RV's load within that rating and within what your generator can supply.
