The Generac 16-Position Neutral/Ground Bar Kit Adds a Neutral or Ground Bar to Your Load Center
The Generac 16-Position Neutral/Ground Bar Kit (model G0066120, kit part 0K5584) is a 16-position bus bar with the parts to install it as an additional neutral bar or as a ground bar. Generac's installation drawing 0K5583 shows both applications.
Generac's drawing lists the EZ Switch, its pre-wired load-center transfer switch, as the first use. Use it when your load center or transfer switch needs more neutral or ground connection points.

16 Connection Positions
The bar gives you 16 positions with screws, so you have room for the neutral or ground conductors you need to land.
Works as a Neutral Bar
For a neutral application, the bar attaches to the snap fittings in the load center. The insulated neutral tie strap is fastened with two screws.
Works as a Ground Bar
For a ground application, the bar attaches to the load center and the supplied 8 AWG green and yellow ground wire connects it. Generac gives a torque of 35 to 40 lb-in for the ground wire screw.
Parts Packed Together
The bar, screws, tie strap and ground wire come in one carton with Generac's installation drawing, so you do not have to source small parts separately.
Real-World Applications
EZ Switch Installations. Add the bar where Generac's drawing shows the kit being used with an EZ Switch.
Extra Neutral Points. Use the neutral application when the load center needs another neutral bar with a tie strap.
