The Renogy RV Solution Go Far 3.8kWh and Go Further 7.6kWh is a complete 12V RV power system. Each option includes ShadowFlux N-Type anti-shading solar panels, Mini Size 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 batteries, a 12V pure sine wave inverter with a UPS transfer switch and built-in Bluetooth, a 12V 50A DC-DC on-board battery charger with MPPT, and an accessory kit.
It's made for RV owners who want one pre-matched set instead of choosing each part. Go Far gives you 3.84kWh of storage with one 200W panel and a 2000W inverter. Go Further gives you 7.68kWh with two 200W panels and a 3000W inverter.
Go Far stores 3.84kWh in one 12V 300Ah battery. Go Further stores 7.68kWh in two. Renogy lists 5,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge for both options. Pick the size that fits how long you stay off the grid.
The 12V 50A DC-DC charger with MPPT takes input from the solar panels and from your starter battery's alternator, so the batteries charge while you drive and while you camp. Renogy's quick guide says alternator charging is the primary charging method for this system. Renogy lists up to 660W of maximum solar input.
The kit uses ShadowFlux 200W N-Type high efficiency anti-shading rigid solar panels. Go Far has one panel, 200W in all. Go Further has two panels, 400W in all. Renogy says one 200W panel makes about 0.8 to 1 kWh a day under ideal sunny conditions.
Go Far has a 2000W 12V pure sine wave inverter. Go Further has a 3000W one. Both have a UPS transfer switch and built-in Bluetooth, and Renogy lists 120V (±3%) AC output. Renogy lists a surge of 4,000W for 2 seconds on the 2000W inverter and 6,000W for 2 seconds on the 3000W inverter.
Renogy says the inverter's AC pass-through, or bypass, function lets shore power run high-draw AC appliances directly when it is available. The system can switch to bypass automatically or by hand.
Renogy numbers the components and gives a wiring diagram and a step-by-step quick guide, and Renogy says guide videos are available. A BT-2 Bluetooth module for the charger is in the box.
Weekend and long-stay camping. Use Go Far for shorter trips and lighter loads, or Go Further when you want more stored energy.
Charging on the road. The alternator input of the DC-DC charger adds charge while you drive between sites.
Campground hookups. Connect to shore power and use the inverter's pass-through for AC loads.
Growing the system later. Renogy says the kit supports solar expansion up to 600W and more batteries of the same model.
Putting together an RV system from single parts means matching the inverter, batteries, charger, fuses, busbars, switches and cables yourself. This kit comes with the matched set and a parts list, so you start from a known list.
Go Far has one 200W panel, one 300Ah battery and a 2000W inverter. Go Further has two panels, two batteries and a 3000W inverter. Both use the same 12V 50A DC-DC charger with MPPT.
Renogy notes that solar alone takes several sunny days to refill the bank: 3 to 4 days for Go Far and 4 to 6 for Go Further under ideal conditions. Renogy says the primary charging method for this system is alternator charging through the DC-DC charger.
The kit does not include the cables between the starter battery and the system. You need a positive cable from the starter battery to the 80A fuse and a negative cable to the negative busbar. Renogy's quick guide gives a table by total cable length (positive and negative together): 6 AWG up to 16.4 ft, 4 AWG from 16.4 to 22.97 ft, and 2 AWG from 22.97 to 32.81 ft. You also need a 10 AWG cable to ground the inverter chassis to the vehicle frame.
Renogy says to connect the battery first and then the solar panels, and to cover the panels with an opaque material before you connect the cables. Connect the grounding wire before you power on the inverter, and turn off all AC loads, then turn them on one at a time. Follow the electrical code where you live.
Yes. Renogy says the 7.6kWh kit supports solar up to 600W, which is three 200W panels, and up to 8 of the same 12V 300Ah lithium batteries in parallel. Added panels, connectors and parallel cables are required. Do not mix other battery models.
No. Renogy says the BT-2 connects to the charger's RS485 port and shows charger status through the Renogy app. It cannot read the battery's state of charge.
Renogy says they protect two charging circuits, the charger output to the red busbar and the starter battery positive to the charger input.
Yes. Renogy says the inverter chassis must be grounded to the vehicle's metal frame before use.
That list is Go Further 7.6kWh. Renogy says the accessory kit contains all the basic accessories shown in the wiring diagram, including fuses, busbars, switches, cables, Z brackets, a battery shunt and the BT-2 Bluetooth module. Go Far 3.8kWh includes 1 x 200W ShadowFlux Rigid Solar Panel, 1 x 12V 300Ah Mini Size LiFePO4 Battery, 1 x 2000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Inverter with UPS Transfer Switch, 1 x 50A DC-DC On-Board Battery Charger with MPPT and 1 x RV 3.8kWh Integrated Accessory Kit.
The Renogy RV Solution Go Far 3.8kWh and Go Further 7.6kWh gives you panels, batteries, an inverter, a DC-DC charger and the accessories in one kit. If you'd like help choosing between the two or planning your install, the Outbound Power team is happy to help.
