4-Stage PWM Charging

Charging runs through Bulk, Absorption (Boost), Float and Equalization stages, so the battery is charged and then maintained without overcharging. Temperature compensation adjusts charging, and the controller has a lithium reawakening feature for over-discharged lithium batteries.

Automatic 12V and 24V Detection

The controller detects system voltage automatically for Gel, AGM and Flooded batteries. For lithium batteries you set the system voltage and charge parameters yourself. Renogy warns that a wrong battery type setting may damage your battery.
