At 14.3 pounds, the briefcase is easy to carry to a campsite, tailgate or backyard. Pre-attached 12 AWG leads, 5 ft each, with MC4 connectors plug into most portable power stations and solar generators, and the panel carries a 25-year power output warranty.

Rich Solar MEGA 100 Watt Portable Solar Panel Briefcase Features

Foldable Briefcase Design

The panel folds in half into a compact briefcase with a carrying handle, so it fits in a vehicle trunk or storage bay and sets up quickly when you arrive.

Built-In Kickstands

Kickstands on the back let you angle the panel toward the sun for better exposure and reposition it as the sun moves.

High-Efficiency N-Type TOPCon Cells

N-Type TOPCon cells with up to 25.3% cell efficiency and 17.9% module efficiency turn more sunlight into charging power for a power station, generator or battery.

Tempered Glass, Aluminum Frame and Corner Protection

Strong tempered glass and an aluminum frame add durability, and corner protection adds impact resistance while you carry and set up the panel.

IP67 Weatherproof Design

The IP67 junction box and IP67 connectors give reliable outdoor performance in dust and rain.

Long 5 ft Leads

Pre-attached 12 AWG leads, 5 ft each, with MC4 connectors let you place the panel in the sun while your power station stays in the shade.

Real-World Applications

Portable power stations. Recharge a small or mid-size power station at camp or during an outage.

Solar generators. Add 100W of solar input to a solar generator.

Camping and RVs. Set the light briefcase out in the sun next to your campsite.

Emergency backup power. Keep a compact panel ready to recharge backup batteries when the grid is down.

How It Compares to Common Alternatives

Versus the MEGA 200 Portable Briefcase. The 200W briefcase charges faster but weighs 26.5 pounds. The MEGA 100 is lighter at 14.3 pounds and smaller when folded.

Versus the MEGA 100 Portable Briefcase Charging Kit. The charging kit adds a charge controller for direct battery charging. This briefcase is the panel only, for power stations and generators with their own solar input.

Versus a roof-mounted panel. A fixed panel stays on the roof. The briefcase can be moved into the sun and packs away when you leave.

Is This Panel the Right Fit

• Power station input. Check that your power station or generator accepts the panel's 21.0V open circuit voltage and 5.76A short circuit current through MC4 or an adapter.
• Battery charging. To charge a battery directly, add a charge controller between the panel and the battery.
• Weight. The briefcase weighs 14.3 pounds.
• Warranty. Rich Solar provides a 25-year power output warranty and a 5-year workmanship warranty.

This may be a good fit if

• You want light, portable solar for a power station or solar generator
• You camp in shaded spots and want to place the panel in the sun
• You want a panel that folds and carries like a briefcase
• You want a backup charging option for outages
