The SunGold Power 10kW 48VDC Off-Grid Solar Kit (SGR-10K2M) links two 5000W 48V Wi-Fi model inverters for 10000W of 120V/240V split phase power. Twelve 450W monocrystalline PERC panels supply 5400W of solar, and four SG48100P server rack batteries store 20.48kWh.
The kit is meant for homes that make their own power instead of relying on the grid. SunGold sizes it to run air conditioners, well pumps, refrigerators, TVs, a workshop or an office, and the batteries carry UL1973 and UL9540A certification.
Each SPH5048P produces 5000W of 120V pure sine wave power with a 10000VA peak and a 4HP motor rating. Set up in parallel, the pair delivers 120V/240V split phase output for a home panel.
The four SG48100P batteries are 3U, 51.2V 100Ah modules of 5.12kWh each. Each is rated for at least 7000 cycles and a 15-year design life, with an LCD and a BMS that guards against overcharge, deep discharge, overload, overheating and short circuit.
The SG450WM panels reach 20.79% module efficiency with 120 PERC cells, an IP68 junction box and a 2400Pa wind rating. Each panel produces 450W at standard test conditions.
Each inverter takes one string of six panels through its own 25A PV breaker. Its MPPT controller accepts up to 5500W of PV within a 120-450Vdc tracking range and charges at up to 100A.
The inverters talk to battery management systems over RS485. If a lithium battery goes dormant, power from the panels or the AC input can activate it again.
With power saving on, each inverter idles at 20-25W instead of 45-50W. That keeps more stored energy for your loads during quiet hours.
