The SunGold Power 12KW All-In-One Off-Grid Solar Inverter (FR12K-B) is a high-output off-grid inverter for 48V battery systems. It combines a 12000 watt pure sine wave inverter with 120/240V split phase output, two 22 amp MPPT solar charge controllers with 13200 watts of PV capacity, and a 120 amp grid or generator charger.
SunGold built in a separate generator port that can also serve as a second load output, making it easier to manage critical and non-critical loads. PV rapid shutdown protection is included, and up to six units can be paralleled for 72kW of total output.
The inverter provides 12000 watts of continuous 120/240V split phase or 120V single phase power, a 24000 watt peak, and a 6HP motor load capacity.
Two trackers accept 6600 watts each, up to 500VDC open circuit, with a 125 to 425VDC MPPT range and 22 amps per tracker. MPPT tracking efficiency is 99.9 percent.
PV charging reaches 200 amps, grid or generator charging reaches 120 amps, and hybrid charging reaches 200 amps. The inverter supports lithium-ion, lead acid, and user-defined batteries, and a BMS communication cable is included.
A dedicated generator input can double as a second load output, so you can separate critical and non-critical loads.
Up to six FR12K-B units can be paralleled for 72kW. A parallel communication cable is included.
PV rapid shutdown protection is integrated for safe operation. RS485, CAN, USB, and dry contact interfaces are built in, and a Wi-Fi logger is included for remote monitoring.
Off-grid homes. Run a full 120/240V panel, including HVAC and well pumps, from solar and a 48V battery bank.
Farms and ranches. Use the generator port to support heavy loads or separate barn and house circuits.
Small businesses. Parallel units for larger off-grid or backup systems.
Generator-assisted systems. Charge at up to 120 amps from a generator when solar is limited.
Versus the SGS-12K18MAX hybrid. The hybrid model adds grid export, a 200A pass-through, and an outdoor rating. The FR12K-B is a dedicated off-grid unit for indoor installation.
Versus the SPH 10KW model. The FR12K-B adds 2000 watts of output, more PV capacity, and a generator port.
