The SunGold Power 6.5KW 48V Split Phase Solar Inverter is an all-in-one off-grid inverter that combines a 6500 watt pure sine wave inverter, two MPPT solar charge controllers, and an AC charger in one wall-mounted unit. It produces 120/240V split phase power from a 48V battery bank, so a single inverter can run both everyday 120V circuits and 240V appliances.

Two independent MPPT inputs accept up to 5000 watts each, for 10000 watts of total PV input. When the sun and batteries are not enough, the inverter can draw from the grid or a generator to power loads and recharge the battery at up to 80 amps, and up to six units can be paralleled for larger systems. SunGold lists UL1741 certification for this model.

6500 Watts of Split Phase Output With a 13000VA Peak

The inverter supplies 6500 watts of continuous 120/240V pure sine wave power, with a 13000VA peak for motor starting. Output can also be configured for single phase, and the per-phase voltage is adjustable between 100, 105, 110, 120, and 127VAC.

Dual MPPT Inputs With 10000 Watts of PV Capacity

Two MPPT channels each accept up to 5000 watts and 550VDC open circuit, with a 150 to 450VDC operating range and up to 18 amps per channel. Separate inputs let you run two strings on different roof faces or ground mounts. SunGold rates MPPT tracking efficiency at 99.9 percent.

Flexible Charging Up to 140 Amps

The inverter can charge from the grid or a generator at up to 80 amps, and the combined solar and AC charge rate can reach 140 amps. Four charge modes are available: PV only, mains first, PV first, and mains plus PV. Timed charge and discharge settings help take advantage of time-of-use rates.

Uninterrupted Power and Battery Flexibility

Typical switching time is 10ms between mains bypass and inverter output. The inverter supports lithium-ion, lead acid, and user-defined battery settings, and it can wake a sleeping lithium battery using PV or mains power.

Parallel Up to Six Units

Up to six inverters can be paralleled for larger split phase or three phase systems. A parallel communication cable is included.

Monitoring and Communication

An LCD shows a live system flow diagram, and the inverter offers RS485, CAN, USB, and dry contact interfaces. A Wi-Fi box is included for app-based monitoring.
