The SunGold Power 8kW 48VDC Complete Off-Grid Solar Kit (SGK-8MAX) combines an 8000W all-in-one solar inverter with twelve 450W monocrystalline panels and four 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 batteries. The batteries are wired in series for a 48V bank with 10.24kWh of storage, and the inverter supplies 120/240V split phase power.
This kit leans toward solar. With 5400W of panels feeding two built-in MPPT inputs, it suits off-grid homes, cabins and shops that use most of their power during daylight and want the battery refilled quickly. The inverter is UL 1741 listed by ETL for off-grid solar systems.
The SPH8048P delivers 8000W rated and 16000W peak, in split phase or single phase. A 63A bypass passes grid or generator power through to your loads, and switching takes a typical 10ms.
The twelve panels run as two strings of six, one string per MPPT input, each through its own 25A breaker. The inverter accepts up to 11000W of PV and 500V open circuit, so this 5400W array uses about half of its solar capacity.
Solar charging reaches 200A, grid or generator charging reaches 100A, and the two together reach 180A. When clouds cut solar output, a generator can make up the difference.
Each 12.8V battery stores 2560Wh and has a 200A BMS, an LCD, Bluetooth monitoring and an IP65 case. Built-in heaters switch on below 33.8°F and off at 42.8°F, so the bank can keep charging in cold weather.
The SG450WM panels reach 20.79% module efficiency with 120 PERC cells. Each has an IP68 junction box and an anodized aluminum frame rated for a 1500V system.
The inverter is configured with Wi-Fi components for app monitoring. Four charging modes, four output modes and a time-slot function let you decide when solar, battery and grid power are used.
