At the heart of the Lithium Cube™ EX6 is a 512Wh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery. LiFePO₄ chemistry is well known for durability and long cycle life, making it an excellent choice for customers who expect to use their portable power station regularly over many years.

According to Wagan, the battery is designed to retain more than 80% of its original capacity after approximately 3,000 charge cycles under specified test conditions.
