Battery capacity and AC output describe two different things, and you need to understand both to choose the right power station.
Battery capacity, measured in watt-hours (Wh), tells you approximately how much energy is stored in the battery.
AC output, measured in watts (W), tells you how much equipment the power station can operate at one time.
Think of capacity as determining how long you can run your equipment and output as determining what you can run.
For example, an electric griddle may consume around 1,500W while heating. A power station could have plenty of battery capacity to operate that griddle for a period of time, but its inverter still needs enough continuous AC output to support the load.
