ACOPOWER 20A ProteusX Waterproof PWM Solar Charge Controller Overview

The ProteusX is ACOPower's first waterproof PWM charge controller. It is a negative ground controller, which ensures compatibility with any negative ground system - which is the standard and most conventional way of grounding.

Featuring a bright blue back-lit LCD display system, including error codes. Designed and engineered to world-class quality standards. Not only is it waterproof, but it is also equipped with advanced PWM technology suitable for 12V and 24V off-grid applications, and compatible with 8 different battery types, including Lithium.

With multiple controller protections, you're assured solar system longevity and protection with the ProteusX 20A charge controller.

Accessories includes MC4 connector- for solar panels; SAE connector for pre-wired 2 Pin socket in sidewall of RV; 20A standard fuse; alligator clamps for car battery or 12 volts lead acid battery
20 amps 12V/ 24v auto continuous charging capacity, enables use of up to 12V/360watts, 24V/720watts.
5 stages of charging for 100% return of capacity and longer battery life- Soft, Bulk, Absorption, Equalization and Float stages. Protection against: reverse polarity and battery connection, reverse current from battery to solar panel protection at night, over-temperature, and over-voltage
8 Battery Type Compatible -Lithium-ion, LiFePO4, LTO, Gel, AGM, Flooded, Crystal and Calcium.
Regulator for a protection of your battery and devices, stop charging after battery's full charge, automatically start when voltage drops
Connect the charge controller to battery firstly, then connect solar panel.

Perfect lightweight power supply

This was purchased to run a small compressor when our crews are on job sites where running and moving power cords is inconvenient and time consuming. The generator is lightweight and perfect for the task. We're now investing in a second unit.

This works very well

This works very well. I can charge my unit and expansion batteries more than twice as fast as using a 120 volt wall outlet. I think it also helps with the battery temperature.
