It is listed to UL 458 and CSA 22.2 No 107.1, marine coated, and capable of a 3000 watt surge for 20 seconds. AIMS Power built it for small industrial applications that depend on power under heavy load, and it is just as useful for home or business backup, cabins, campsites, smaller RVs, and boats. It accepts 120 volt AC from shore power, a generator, or even an extension cord from a wall outlet to charge your batteries.
A low frequency design gives this inverter three times its continuous rating in surge capacity for up to 20 seconds, helping motors, pumps, and compressors start reliably.
The multi-stage smart charger delivers up to 35 amps and supports gel, AGM, lead-acid, and lithium LiFePO4 batteries, with seven battery type settings to match your bank.
When AC input power is lost, the built-in transfer switch moves your loads to battery power with a typical transfer time of 10 milliseconds. A 20 amp bypass breaker protects pass-through power.
Battery priority mode lets you run directly from your battery bank instead of a generator or other AC source, and auto generator start can bring a generator online when needed.
A 20 amp dual-plug GFCI outlet with a reset button handles plug-in loads, while the AC direct connect terminal block allows hardwired installation with a three-wire connection.
