The AIMS Power 1000 Watt 12 Volt Pure Sine Inverter Charger Gives Small RVs, Boats, and Backup Systems Heavy-Duty Power and Smart Charging

The AIMS Power 1000 Watt 12 Volt Pure Sine Inverter Charger is a low frequency, heavy-duty unit that combines a pure sine inverter, a 35 amp four-stage battery charger, and a 30 amp automatic transfer switch. It is built for small industrial applications that need power under heavy load, and it is equally at home providing off-grid home backup, solar system power, business backup, or clean power at campsites, cabins, and tailgates. It accepts any 120 volt AC source for charging, including a gas or diesel generator, shore power at an RV park or truck stop, or an extension cord from your wall outlet at home.

AIMS Power 1000 Watt 12 Volt Pure Sine Inverter Charger Features

3000 Watt Surge for 20 Seconds Thanks to Low Frequency Design

The inverter runs 1000 watts continuously and delivers a 3000 watt surge for 20 seconds, giving motors, pumps, and compressors the extra push they need to start.

35 Amp Four-Stage Smart Charger for Lead and Lithium

The multi-stage charger supports gel, AGM, lead-acid, and lithium LiFePO4 batteries with seven battery type settings and a selectable charge setting dial. Charge current is adjustable from off to 20% to 100%, and overcharge protection shuts down at 15.7 volts.

30 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch With 10 Millisecond Switchover

When AC input is lost, the transfer switch moves your loads to the inverter in 10 milliseconds or less, then switches back when AC power returns.

Battery Priority Mode and Power Saver Hibernation

Battery priority mode lets you run directly from your battery bank instead of a generator or other AC source. In power saver mode, the inverter pulses every 30 seconds to detect a load of 25 watts or more and otherwise sleeps, with idle consumption under 7.5 watts.

GFCI Outlet, Marine Coating, and Worldwide Auto Frequency

A dual-plug GFCI outlet with a reset button handles plug-in loads, and a three-wire direct terminal connection is also supported. Marine coating protects the electronics, and auto frequency detection lets the inverter work in any country that uses 120 volt AC. An optional wired remote is available.

Real-World Applications

Off-grid and home backup. Power essential household appliances during outages, with automatic transfer.

Solar systems. Pair with a 12 volt solar battery bank and use battery priority mode to make the most of stored energy.

Smaller RVs and boats. Charge from shore power or a generator and switch to battery automatically.

Campsites, cabins, and tailgating. Bring clean pure sine power anywhere you set up.

How It Compares to Common Alternatives

Versus high frequency inverter chargers. Low frequency construction adds weight but provides much stronger surge capacity for inductive loads.

Versus separate components. An integrated inverter, charger, and transfer switch reduces wiring and installation time.

Versus larger models. AIMS Power offers low frequency inverter chargers in 12, 24, and 48 volt versions if you need more than 1000 watts.

Is This Inverter Charger the Right Fit

  • Weight. At 35 pounds, plan for sturdy mounting.
  • Low voltage cutoff. Low battery trip is selectable at 10 or 10.5 volts so your batteries are never fully drained.
  • Operating temperature. Ambient operating range is 14°F to 122°F.
  • Battery bank. Use a 12 volt bank sized for your loads and runtime.

This may be a good fit if

  • You want automatic backup power with clean pure sine output
  • You need strong surge capacity for pumps or compressors
  • You use or plan to use lithium batteries
  • You are powering a smaller RV, boat, cabin, or solar setup
