The AIMS Power 2000 Watt 12 Volt Pure Sine Inverter Charger is a heavy-duty, low frequency unit that combines a pure sine inverter, a 70 amp multi-stage battery charger, and an automatic transfer switch in one ETL listed package. AIMS Power built it for small industrial applications that need power under heavy load, and it is just as capable powering essential household appliances during an outage, running an off-grid or solar system, or serving a smaller RV or boat. It charges from any 120 volt AC source, including a generator, shore power, or an extension cord from a wall outlet.
Three times surge capacity for up to 20 seconds helps start motors, pumps, and compressors that would overwhelm many high frequency inverters.
The smart charger delivers up to 70 amps and supports gel, AGM, lead-acid, and lithium LiFePO4 batteries with seven battery type settings.
When AC power fails, the transfer switch moves loads to the inverter with a typical transfer time of 10 milliseconds. Auto generator start and battery priority mode support flexible solar and generator systems.
A 20 amp GFCI outlet handles plug-in loads, while the AC direct connect terminal block supports hardwired installations. A 30 amp bypass terminal breaker protects pass-through power.
