The AIMS Power 2000 Watt 48 Volt Rack Mount Pure Sine Inverter is a 2U rack mount backup power solution for server rooms, telecom racks, and industrial control systems. It converts 48 volt DC battery power into clean, stable 120 volt AC pure sine wave power, and its built-in 20 amp transfer switch bypasses the inverter when utility power is present, then switches to battery power in 16 to 18 milliseconds when utility power fails. With RS232 monitoring, a front-panel status display, and 91% efficiency, it is a compact, intelligent way to keep sensitive equipment online.
The 2U design fits standard equipment racks and weighs 22 pounds, keeping backup power tidy and close to the equipment it protects.
Utility power passes through when available. When it fails, the inverter takes over in 16 to 18 milliseconds (program controlled). AC output and bypass are protected by a 20 amp breaker.
Clean pure sine output keeps IT hardware, networking gear, and other sensitive electronics running smoothly, with surge capacity for startup loads.
