The AIMS Power 2500 Watt 12 Volt Low-Frequency Pure Sine Inverter Charger is built for applications that switch between grid or shore power and inverter power automatically, such as semi-trucks, 5th wheels, toy haulers, and remote locations that need dependable electricity. It delivers 2500 watts of continuous, clean pure sine wave power, a massive 7500 watt surge for 20 seconds, an 85 amp charger, and an automatic transfer switch. AIMS Power designed it with fewer bells and whistles to keep it affordable and easy to use, and calls it the "better" option in its good, better, best lineup.
When needed, the inverter can produce 7500 watts of surge for 20 seconds to start refrigerators, pumps, tools, motors, compressors, and microwaves. AIMS Power advises not to use the surge mode often.
Recharge your batteries from shore power or a generator with a multi-stage charger that offers seven battery type settings.
The transfer switch moves loads between AC input and battery power with a typical transfer time of 10 milliseconds. The terminal output breaker and transfer load are rated at 30 amps, and the unit handles most loads up to 20 AC amps.
Plug in through the GFCI outlet or hardwire through the AC direct connect terminal block.
A thermal and load-based fan, low voltage recovery, marine coating, auto frequency, and an optional 25 watt power save mode are included.
