The low frequency pure sine inverter turns 12 volt battery power into 120 volt AC electricity for tools and appliances of all kinds, and the built-in 100 amp charger recharges your battery bank from the grid or a fuel-powered generator. Its 12 volt input makes it a natural fit for vehicle upfitting, boats, and RVs, and it is equally at home providing off-grid backup for a home or business, powering a mobile office, or running camping equipment. An automatic transfer switch keeps power flowing when the grid goes down.
The most popular feature of this unit, according to AIMS Power, is the direct connect terminal block, which unlocks a 300% surge for up to 20 seconds. That gives you power to start refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, and blow dryers. Note that the AC outlets have no surge capacity, so use the terminal block to harness the surge.
The multi-stage smart charger delivers up to 100 amps and supports gel, AGM, lead, and lithium LiFePO4 batteries. A battery type selector with seven settings lets you adjust the voltage provided to your bank.
