The AIMS Power 3000 Watt 12 Volt Pure Sine Inverter Charger With 50A Bypass combines a 3000 watt low frequency pure sine inverter, a 100 amp multi-stage battery charger and an automatic transfer switch in one system. It is ETL listed to UL 458 standards and can bypass 50 amps at 120 volts or 240 volts while outputting 120 volts, making it a strong fit for RVs, work trucks, food trucks and boats. Peak DC to AC conversion efficiency reaches 92%, surge capacity is 9000 watts for 20 seconds, and auto generator start and battery priority modes make it equally useful in backup and renewable energy systems. The inverter can bypass 50 amps at 120 volts or 240 volts while outputting 120 volts. Both the 120 volt and 240 volt bypass breakers are rated at 50 amps, so it can handle shore power or generator input common in larger RVs.
Low frequency construction provides 3x surge capability, delivering 9000 watts for 20 seconds. AIMS Power rates it for starting electric motors up to 3 HP, so it can handle tools, compressors and appliances with high startup demand.
The 12 volt charger delivers up to 100 amps. In AC priority mode, the load transfers to inverter power automatically when utility power cuts off, with a typical transfer time of 10 milliseconds, and transfers back when power is restored. In battery priority mode, set by DIP switch, the inverter draws on external renewable sources with minimal battery cycling.
Auto generator start lets you integrate a generator as backup that starts when battery voltage runs low.
Marine coating protects the electronics, a 20 amp GFCI and AC direct connect terminal block provide flexible connections, and auto frequency detection supports 50 or 60 Hz. Status LEDs show system status, and an optional LCD remote panel is available.
