The AIMS Power 4000 Watt 24 Volt Pure Sine Inverter Charger is a low frequency power center with a high-wattage capacity for nearly any application. Its 24 volt input delivers efficient operation, and its 300% surge rating handles 12,000 watts for up to 20 seconds, so locked rotor startup loads like air compressors and air conditioners are no problem. AIMS Power highlights its use in class-A motor homes, charter bus fleets, construction vehicles, and 24 volt houseboats, as well as renewable solar, off-grid home and business backup, mobile, and emergency power anywhere 110 or 120 volt AC is used.
The 300% surge capability helps start equipment with high locked rotor amperage, such as air compressors and air conditioners.
The charger supports lithium LiFePO4, gel, AGM, and lead batteries with seven battery type settings and adjustable current from off to 20% to 100%. Overcharge protection shuts down at 31.4 volts. It accepts any 120 volt AC source, including a diesel or gas generator, shore power at a truck stop or RV park, or a wall outlet at home.
Loads switch to battery power in a typical 10 milliseconds when AC input is lost, keeping sensitive electronics running.
Battery priority mode lets the inverter run directly from your battery backup system instead of a generator or other AC source. Power saver mode sleeps until it detects a load of 25 watts or more, reducing idle consumption from 52.5 watts to under 25 watts.
Auto frequency detection allows use in any country with 120 volt AC output, conformal coating protects the electronics, and a remote panel is available.
