Low frequency inverters are known for strong surge capacity, and this one delivers 1800 watts for up to 20 seconds, three times its 600 watt continuous rating. That extra muscle helps start pumps, compressors, and tools without straining the equipment.
In AC priority mode, when utility power cuts off, the inverter automatically transfers your loads to battery power with a typical transfer time of 10 milliseconds or less. When qualified utility power returns, it switches back and resumes charging.
The four-stage smart charger supports gel, lead-acid, AGM, and lithium batteries, with seven battery type settings and adjustable charge current from off to 20% to 100%. Overcharge protection shuts down charging at 15.7 volts.
Set the DIP switch to battery priority and the inverter draws from your battery bank and renewable sources first, using external AC power only when needed. AIMS Power also notes an auto generator start function that can start a backup generator when battery voltage runs low.
A GFCI outlet protects connected devices, an AC input cable is included for easy connection, and conformal coating helps protect the electronics in marine environments.
