The AIMS Power ANL 500 Amp Fuse Kit With Holder is a high current ANL fuse kit that includes an ANL 500 amp inline fuse and a fuse holder. A fuse plays a big part in any DC circuit by interrupting the flow of power if too much current passes through, which helps prevent damage to equipment, fire and other hazards. The inline holder gives you a convenient way to mount the fuse where you need it, typically close to the battery positive terminal. AIMS Power lists it for use with 4/0 AWG cable and/or inverters of 12,000 watts or smaller. It is compatible with 12, 24 or 48 volt DC systems. Fuse kits can be connected in parallel, and the holder post size is 5/16".
