The BLUETTI AC70P is an 864Wh LiFePO4 portable power station with a 1,000W pure sine wave inverter at 120V. It has eight outputs: two AC outlets, two 100W USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a 12V/10A car outlet and a 15W wireless charging pad. It weighs 22.5 lbs and measures 12.4 x 8.2 x 10.1 in.
It's built for camping, RV trips, road trips and home backup. Charge it from a wall outlet, solar panels, a car or a generator. In Turbo mode it reaches 80% in 45 minutes from the wall, and the car and solar charging cables come in the box.
The inverter delivers 1,000W in total at 120V, 8.3A and 50/60Hz across the two AC outlets, and BLUETTI lists appliances up to 1,000W such as refrigerators and air conditioners. Power Lifting mode, off by default, runs resistive loads rated 1,000W to 2,000W, such as kettles, electric blankets and hair dryers. BLUETTI notes that the actual operating power stays at 1,000W.
Standard mode charges in about 2 hours and reduces battery wear. Turbo mode charges at up to 950W and reaches 80% in 45 minutes and 100% in about 1.5 hours at 77°F (25°C). Silent mode takes about 4 hours for quiet, low-power charging. You can pick a mode on the unit or turn on Turbo in the BLUETTI app.
The XT60 DC input takes 12V to 58V solar at up to 10A and 500W, with panels wired in series or parallel. With a steady 500W of solar, BLUETTI says the AC70P finishes charging within about 2 hours, though weather, sunlight and panel angle affect the time. AC and solar charging together top out at 1,000W.
With the included car charging cable, the AC70P charges from a 12V or 24V socket in about 7 to 9 hours at 12V or 4 to 5 hours at 24V, with the engine running. From a generator with stable pure sine wave output, a full charge takes about 2 hours. BLUETTI recommends not running devices from the AC70P while it charges from a generator.
The AC70P supports pass-through charging. Plugged into the wall, it switches to battery within 20 ms if the power drops. BLUETTI says not to use it with devices that need a high-performance UPS, such as data servers, workstations and medical equipment.
LiFePO4 cells have high thermal and chemical stability. The BMS protects against overvoltage, overtemperature, overload and short circuits, and it adjusts charging power based on battery temperature and state of charge to protect the battery.
The BLUETTI app connects over Bluetooth so you can monitor and control the AC70P from your phone. ECO mode is on by default and turns off the AC or DC output under low or no load. You can set the AC threshold from 10W to 30W and the DC threshold from 5W to 10W, for 1 to 4 hours. Turn ECO off for small devices.
Camping. BLUETTI estimates about 2.5 hours for a 250W ice maker and about 10 charges for a 50Wh drone battery.
RV and road trips. Run a 12V car refrigerator up to 120W from the car outlet, then recharge from your vehicle's socket while you drive.
Home backup. BLUETTI's manual estimates about 12 hours for a 40W refrigerator, and BLUETTI estimates about 8.8 hours for a 60W TV.
Cooking on the go. BLUETTI estimates about 3.1 hours for a 200W rice cooker and about 0.6 hours for a 1,000W kettle.
Turbo gets you to 80% in 45 minutes and full in about 1.5 hours when time matters. Standard takes about 2 hours, and BLUETTI says it reduces battery wear for long battery life. Silent takes about 4 hours when you want a quieter charge.
The AC70P has no engine, so there's no fuel to store, and BLUETTI rates its operation at under 45dB. It recharges from the wall, the sun or your car. A generator is the type to look at when you need more than 864Wh between recharges.
Keep your total constant load at or under 1,000W. BLUETTI notes that devices with motors or compressors may start at 2 to 4 times their rated power, which can overload the AC70P. For loads above 300W, BLUETTI estimates runtime as 864Wh x 90% depth of discharge x 85% inverter efficiency, divided by the load. Below 300W, add about 15W of self-consumption to the load.
Use solar panels with an open-circuit voltage of 12V to 58V and MC4 connectors, and don't mix different types of panels. The AC output is for off-grid use only, so never connect it to the grid. Don't operate the AC70P in wet conditions or rain, and charge it between 32°F and 104°F (0°C to 40°C).
Yes. The AC70P supports pass-through charging, so you can run devices while it charges.
Yes, as long as the open-circuit voltage is 12V to 58V, the current is 10A or less and the panels have MC4 connectors.
The built-in BMS adjusts charging power based on battery temperature and state of charge to protect the battery and extend its life.
BLUETTI lists a 5-year warranty for the AC70P.
The BLUETTI AC70P Portable Power Station combines 864Wh of LiFePO4 storage, 1,000W of pure sine wave output, 2,000W Power Lifting and a 45-minute charge to 80% in a 22.5 lb case. If you'd like help sizing your loads or choosing solar panels, the Outbound Power team is happy to help.
