The BLUETTI Charger 1 is a 560W alternator charger that connects to your vehicle's starter battery and charges your portable power station while the engine runs. BLUETTI rates it about six times faster than a 12V cigarette lighter outlet, enough to fully charge a 1kWh power station in about 2.5 hours of driving.
Adjustable output voltage lets Charger 1 work with all BLUETTI power stations and about 95% of other models that charge through MC4 solar connectors. It turns on and off automatically with your engine, protects your starter battery from drain and connects to the BLUETTI app for monitoring and voltage control. Choose Charger 1 with the 6 AWG DC input cable and 60A breaker, or Charger 1 alone if you plan to use your own cables.
Charger 1 boosts your vehicle's 12V or 24V supply to as much as 56V at 10A for 560W of charging power. A standard car outlet usually delivers 80 to 100W.
The output voltage adjusts from 15V to 56V on a 12V vehicle and 27V to 56V on a 24V vehicle. The default is 27V for smaller units, and a 56V setting is needed to reach the full 560W on larger stations.
An intelligent voltage-monitoring algorithm detects when the engine starts and stops. Charger 1 stops drawing power 3 to 6 seconds after you turn the engine off, so your starter battery is never drained.
Built-in short circuit, reverse connection, under-voltage and over-temperature protection safeguards your vehicle, the charger and your power station. If the starter battery drops below 12.0V (12V systems), charging stops.
Active fan cooling keeps output steady at high temperatures, and the charger operates from -4°F to 140°F.
Over Bluetooth, the BLUETTI app shows charging status and car battery voltage and lets you adjust and save the output voltage for your power station.
