The BLUETTI Premium 100 V2 Portable Power Station Puts 1024Wh, 1800W and 11 Outputs in a Compact Case You Can Carry by Its Top Handle
The BLUETTI Premium 100 V2 is a 1,024Wh (20Ah) LiFePO4 portable power station with 1,800W of 120V AC output and up to 2,000W of combined AC and DC output. It has 11 outputs: four AC outlets, a 100W and a 140W USB-C port, two USB-A ports, two DC5521 ports and a 12V/10A car outlet. It weighs about 25.3 lbs and measures 12.6 x 8.5 x 9.8 in.
It's sized for camping, road trips and short power outages at home. Charge it from a wall outlet, solar panels, a car, a generator, or AC and solar together. In Turbo mode it reaches 80% in about 45 minutes on 1,200W of AC power, and when it's plugged in it switches to battery within 10 ms if the power goes out.
BLUETTI Premium 100 V2 Portable Power Station Features
1800W Output With 3600W Surge and 2700W Power Lifting
The pure sine wave inverter delivers 1,800W at 120V, 15A, and BLUETTI rates surge power at 3,600W for appliances that need extra power to start. Power Lifting mode, off by default, runs pure resistive loads rated 1,800W to 2,700W, such as kettles, electric blankets and hair dryers. BLUETTI notes that the actual output in this mode is still 1,800W.
Turbo Charging to 80% in About 45 Minutes
There are three AC charging modes. Standard, the default, charges at up to 600W and takes about 2 hours. Turbo raises AC charging to 1,200W and reaches 80% in about 45 minutes at 77°F (25°C). Silent charges at up to 600W in about 2 hours for quiet operation. You set Standard and Turbo on the unit, and Silent through the BLUETTI app.
1000W Solar Input
The DC input takes panels with an open-circuit voltage of 12V to 60V, up to 20A and 1,000W, through a built-in MPPT controller. In Turbo mode the unit accepts the full 1,000W, and BLUETTI rates a full solar charge at about 70 minutes. Standard and Silent modes limit solar input to 600W, and AC plus solar charging tops out at 1,200W.
10 ms UPS Switchover
Plugged into the wall, it runs your devices from the outlet and switches to battery within 10 ms during an outage. The app offers Standard, Time Control, PV Priority and Customized UPS modes. BLUETTI says it isn't meant for data servers or workstations that need a high-performance UPS.
Quiet 30dB Operation Under 600W
BLUETTI rates the Premium 100 V2 at 30dB when the load is under 600W, with a 50dB maximum. BLUETTI pictures it running a CPAP, a mini fridge or a security camera through the night.
LiFePO4 Battery Rated for 4000+ Cycles
The LiFePO4 battery is rated for 4,000+ cycles to 80% of original capacity. The BMS adjusts charging power based on battery temperature and state of charge to protect the battery. It charges from 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C) and discharges from -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to 40°C).
WiFi and Bluetooth App Control
The BLUETTI app connects over WiFi or Bluetooth for UPS modes, Grid Self-Adaption mode, the maximum grid charging current and firmware updates. ECO mode, off by default, can shut off the AC output below 10W to 40W or the DC output below 5W to 20W after 1 to 4 hours, and you set both thresholds in the app.
Real-World Applications
Camping and road trips. BLUETTI estimates about 33.2 hours for a portable refrigerator using 0.6kWh a day and about 39.5 hours for a 15W mini speaker.
Home outages. BLUETTI estimates about 19.9 hours for a refrigerator using 1kWh a day and about 8.9 hours for an 85W TV, with UPS switchover in 10 ms.
Work on the go. BLUETTI estimates about 12.6 charges for a 60Wh laptop, and the 140W USB-C port supplies up to 28V/5A.
Cabins and sheds. BLUETTI estimates about 51.8 hours for a 10W cabin light, about 18 hours for a 40W fan and about 1.6 hours for a 500W electric griddle.
Practical Comparison
Turbo Mode Versus Standard Mode
BLUETTI describes Standard mode as battery-friendly, with 600W of AC or solar input and about 2 hours to charge. Turbo mode is for a quick recharge. It charges at 1,200W from the wall, reaches 80% in about 45 minutes and opens up the full 1,000W of solar input.
Premium 100 V2 Versus a Gas Generator
The Premium 100 V2 has no engine, so there's no fuel to store, and it runs at 30dB under 600W. A generator is the type to look at when you need more than 1,024Wh between recharges.
Buyer Guidance
Sizing and Load Limits
Keep your total AC load below 1,800W. BLUETTI notes that devices with motors or compressors may start at 2 to 4 times their rated power. For runtime, BLUETTI's manual multiplies capacity by a 90% depth of discharge and an inverter efficiency over 90%, then divides by your load plus about 10W of self-consumption. The car outlet and DC5521 ports share a 10A total.
Charging Cables and Safety
The solar charging cable (MC4 to XT60), car charging cable and lead-acid battery charging cable are optional and not included. For generator charging, use a pure sine wave generator with matching voltage and frequency, turn on Grid Self-Adaption mode, and lower the maximum grid charging current in the app if the generator is smaller than the charging power. BLUETTI warns not to run a continuous load for more than 3 hours when the AC input current exceeds 12A (1,440W). Never connect the AC output to the grid.
This May Be A Good Fit If
- You want about 1kWh that one person can carry
- You need 1,800W for small kitchen appliances
- You want quiet power for overnight use
- You need UPS backup for home electronics
