The BougeRV Yuma 200W CIGS Thin-Film Flexible Solar Panel is a long, thin panel built on copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) cells. It is 0.06 inches thick, flexes to follow curved surfaces, and holds up better than monocrystalline cells in shade and cloud. It fits RVs, travel trailers, campervans, truck campers and boats.
Choose how you want to mount it. The With Tape option (ISE138) has a pre-applied adhesive backing for drill-free installs. The With Pre-Punched Holes option (ISE154) has a borehole design so you can fasten it securely with hardware. Both have the same electrical ratings.
CIGS thin-film cells are flexible and crack resistant, unlike rigid monocrystalline cells. The panel can roll up for storage, bend to fit a curved roof, and BougeRV says it keeps working even if partly damaged.
Multiple bypass diodes reduce power loss when part of the panel is shaded. BougeRV says the Yuma produces up to 38% more energy than a conventional monocrystalline panel over an 8-hour cloudy day.
The tape version mounts with its industrial-strength adhesive backing, with no brackets or drilling. The pre-punched hole version lets you screw or bolt the panel down where adhesive alone is not enough.
BougeRV says the panel is safe to walk on and rated for 2,400Pa, about 244.8kg per square meter. The tape version is rated for 2,400Pa wind and 5,400Pa snow loads.
At 0.06 inches thick, the panel adds almost no height. The tape version weighs 8.44 pounds and the hole version 5.95 pounds, so neither needs a heavy aluminum frame.
The panel is rated to operate from -40°F to 185°F, and its 10-year product warranty is backed by a 25-year performance warranty.
RVs and travel trailers. Run a long panel down a curved roof to charge house batteries without new holes.
Boats. Lay a light, walkable panel on a deck or canopy to keep batteries charged on the water.
Campervans and truck campers. Add 200W to a van roof or camper shell with a low profile that cuts wind noise.
Teardrop trailers. Follow the trailer's curve with the tape version for a clean install.
Versus monocrystalline flexible panels. Monocrystalline cells are more efficient per square foot but can crack when flexed. Yuma's 17% CIGS cells trade some efficiency for crack resistance and better low-light output.
Versus rigid framed panels. A rigid 200W panel needs mounting brackets and holes in the roof. The Yuma follows curves and mounts with tape or a few fasteners.
Tape versus pre-punched holes. Choose tape for a smooth roof where you do not want any holes. Choose the hole version when you want mechanical fastening or plan to remove the panel later.

Low light, a poor angle and shading reduce output. Adjust the angle, avoid shade, and clean the panel regularly to remove bird droppings, dust and debris, which can stop output completely.
Clean the panel with a moist, soft, non-abrasive cloth or sponge. If you remove the panel, clean any residue from the mounting surface with industrial alcohol. Replace the adhesive backing if gaps appear between the panel and the surface.
