The DuroMax XP13000HXT Tri-Fuel Portable Generator gives you three fuel choices for home backup. Its 500cc DuroMax OHV engine produces 10,500 running and 13,000 peak watts on gasoline, 10,000 running and 12,500 peak watts on propane and 9,000 running and 11,250 peak watts on natural gas.
Connected to a natural gas line, it can keep running without refueling. The XP13000HXT is part of the HX series, so it includes CO Alert shutdown, push button and remote start, four GFCI household outlets and a transfer switch-ready 50A outlet, all backed by a 5-year DuroMax warranty.
Run on gasoline, propane or natural gas and switch fuels from the front-facing selector. A 15-foot, 3/4-inch natural gas hose and a 4-foot propane hose with regulator are included. Natural gas operation requires 6.0 to 9.0 inches of water column pressure and up to 225,000 BTU at full load.
With 87.5 amps at 120V on gasoline, the XP13000HXT can run refrigerators, pumps, lights and in many homes, central air. The 14-50R outlet connects to a transfer switch or interlock.
Start the generator with the included remote control or the push button, with a recoil starter as a backup.
A built-in sensor shuts the generator down automatically if carbon monoxide builds to unsafe levels around the unit.
100% copper windings and an automatic voltage regulator produce power with less than 5% total harmonic distortion.
Four 5-20R GFCI outlets, an L5-30R, an L14-30R and a 14-50R outlet cover household, RV and transfer switch connections. A digital meter tracks voltage, frequency and run hours.
An all-metal frame and power panel, a cast iron sleeve and 10-inch metal-hub wheels are built for years of use. The 8.3-gallon tank delivers about 8.5 hours at 50% load on gasoline.
