The DuroMax XP15000HX Dual Fuel Portable Generator is built to power your whole home during a storm or outage, including central air, a water heater and more in many homes. Its 670cc DuroMax OHV engine produces 12,000 running and 15,000 peak watts on gasoline, or 11,400 running and 14,250 peak watts on propane.
The XP15000HX is part of the DuroMax HX series, with CO Alert shutdown, push button and remote start, ten 5-20R household outlets and a transfer switch-ready 50A outlet. A 13.2-gallon tank, an AGM battery and a 5-year warranty round it out.
With 100 amps at 120V and 50 amps at 240V on gasoline, the XP15000HX can run refrigerators, pumps, lights and in many homes, central air. The 14-50R outlet connects to a transfer switch or interlock.
Run on gasoline or propane and switch fuels from the front interface. Propane is clean-burning, has a long shelf life and is widely available. A 4-foot propane hose with regulator is included, and DuroMax suggests a 60 lb tank or larger.
A built-in sensor shuts the generator down automatically if carbon monoxide builds to unsafe levels around the unit.
Ten 5-20R GFCI outlets, an L5-30R, an L14-30R and a 14-50R outlet let you run many cords at once. A digital meter shows voltage, frequency and run hours, and a battery switch helps prevent battery drain.
Start with the remote control or push button, with a recoil starter as a backup. The AGM battery offers longer life and better cold-weather starting.
The 13.2-gallon tank delivers about 17.9 hours at 25% load and 12 hours at 50% load on gasoline. On propane, DuroMax rates about 12.5 hours at 25% load and 8.5 hours at 50% load.
100% copper windings produce under 5% THD. An all-metal frame, a spin-on oil filter and 13-inch metal-hub wheels are built for heavy use.
Whole home backup. Through a transfer switch or interlock, run most household circuits, including central air and a water heater in many homes.
Storm season. Switch to stored propane when gasoline is scarce.
Job sites. Ten 120V outlets and 240V power keep tools and crews running.
Large RVs. The 14-50R outlet connects to 50A RV service.
