The DuroMax XP7000iH Dual Fuel Portable Inverter Generator powers sensitive electronics at home or on the go. Its 320cc DuroMax engine produces 5,500 running and 7,000 peak watts on gasoline, or 5,225 running and 6,650 peak watts on propane, with less than 3% total harmonic distortion.
With a 30A L14-30R outlet for generator interlocks and transfer switches, remote start, CO Alert shutdown and a quiet 62 dB rating at 25% load, the XP7000iH is a compact choice for home essentials and RVs. It is backed by a 5-year DuroMax warranty.

The digital inverter keeps total harmonic distortion under 3%, so you can safely run computers, TVs, refrigerators with electronic controls and other sensitive devices.
The L14-30R 120/240V outlet connects to generator interlocks and transfer switches, and two 5-20R GFCI outlets handle everyday loads.
Run on gasoline or propane. A 4-foot propane hose with regulator is included, and DuroMax suggests a 20 lb tank or larger.
Start with the included remote control or the push button, with a recoil starter as a backup. A battery tender is included to keep the battery charged in storage.
A built-in sensor shuts the generator down automatically if carbon monoxide builds to unsafe levels around the unit.
Demand-based variable idle lowers engine speed at light loads, so it runs at 62 dB at 25% load and stretches fuel. The 3-gallon tank delivers about 16 hours at 25% load and 8 hours at 50% load.
Pair it with another compatible DuroMax inverter (sold separately) for more power.
Home essentials. Through an interlock or transfer switch, run a refrigerator, freezer, sump pump, furnace blower, lights and electronics.
RVs and camping. Quiet operation and clean power suit campgrounds and RV electronics.
Home offices. Keep computers, routers and monitors running during outages.
Mobile work. Power tools and chargers with stable output.
Versus the DuroMax XP9500iH. The XP9500iH adds 2,100 running watts and a 50A outlet for more home coverage, but weighs more.
Versus the DuroMax XP5500HX. The XP5500HX costs less and runs open-frame. The XP7000iH is quieter, cleaner and adds remote start.
Versus small inverters like the XP2300iH. The XP7000iH adds 240V output and electric start for home backup.
This may be a good fit if
In most homes, yes, along with lights and electronics. Add up the running and starting watts of what you plan to run.
At 50% load, DuroMax rates about 14 hours on a 40 lb tank, 21 hours on a 60 lb tank and 23.33 hours on a 100 lb tank.
DuroMax rates it at 62 dB at 25% load.
DuroMax covers the XP7000iH with a 5-year parts and technical service warranty, backed by USA-based support.
