The EcoFlow Power Hub Puts a 3600W Inverter-Charger, Solar Charging and DC Output in One Unit

The EcoFlow Power Hub is the center of EcoFlow Power Kits. EcoFlow describes it as 5 components in 1: two MPPT solar chargers, a DC-DC battery charger with MPPT, an inverter-charger and a DC-DC converter. It delivers 3600W of pure sine wave AC at 120V, 12V or 24V DC output, and it connects up to three EcoFlow 2kWh or 5kWh LFP batteries, sold separately.

It suits RVs, off-grid builds and home backup systems. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connect it to the EcoFlow app, and it links to the Power Kit Console and AC/DC Smart Distribution Panel over RJ45 CAN Bus.

EcoFlow Power Hub Features

3600W Pure Sine Wave AC Output

The AC Main Out delivers 3600W at 120V, 60Hz with a 7200W surge for 100 ms, and a separate 120V 20A AC outlet adds a direct plug-in point. Output derates linearly to 1800W when the ambient temperature is between 104°F and 140°F (40°C and 60°C), and to 3000W when battery voltage drops below 49V.

X-Boost for Heating Appliances

X-Boost lets the Power Hub run a heating appliance of up to 5200W while its rated output stays at 3600W. It isn't available in bypass mode and doesn't suit appliances with voltage protection, such as precision instruments.

Up to 4800W of Solar Input

Three PV inputs accept 15–60V and 30A each, up to 1600W per port and 4800W in total. Any brand of panel works if it meets those input specifications.

AC, Alternator and Smart Generator Charging

AC charging uses EcoFlow X-Stream at up to 3000W and 30A, with a 15A default you can change in the app or on the Console. Three alternator inputs work with 12V, 24V or 48V alternators at up to 1600W each, with 60A on ALT IN1 and 30A on the other two. An EcoFlow Smart Generator, sold separately, adds up to 1800W.

12V or 24V DC Main Output

The DC Main Out supplies 13.6V at 70A, up to 1000W, or 26.4V at 60A, up to 1600W.

Bypass Mode With 30ms Transfer

With external AC connected and the AC output on, the Power Hub passes grid or shore power through to your loads and charges the batteries. If that source fails, it switches to inverter mode and restores AC output within 30ms.

Smart Home Panel Connection

For whole home backup, the Power Hub connects to the EcoFlow Smart Home Panel with the Power Hub Infinity Cable to Smart Home Panel, both sold separately. The Smart Home Panel then controls AC charging and discharging, and the setup supports AC parallel or split phase output.

Real-World Applications

RVs and vans. Charge from roof solar, shore power and the vehicle alternator, and run AC and DC loads through the AC/DC Smart Distribution Panel.

Off-grid builds. Use up to 4800W of solar across three inputs, with an EcoFlow Smart Generator as a backup charging source.

Partial home backup. Feed backup loads through the AC/DC Smart Distribution Panel and an AC sub panel, not included.

Whole home backup. Pair the Power Hub with an EcoFlow Smart Home Panel for home power backup or emergency power for critical equipment.

How It Compares to Common Alternatives

Versus separate components. A traditional system wires an inverter-charger, solar charge controllers, a battery charger and a DC converter together. The Power Hub combines all five in one 31 lb unit.

Versus a gas generator. A generator needs fuel every time you want power. The Power Hub stores energy in LFP batteries from solar, shore power, your alternator or a Smart Generator and serves it on demand.

Is This Power Hub the Right Fit

• Batteries sold separately. It needs one to three EcoFlow 2kWh or 5kWh LFP batteries. EcoFlow doesn't recommend using models EFM100-BPB and EFM100-BP on one Power Hub.
• Grounding. It is a Safety Class I product and needs protective grounding at the AC input or output, or at its external earth stud. EcoFlow recommends a GFCI on the AC input and AC output and says to follow local grounding regulations.
• Ventilation. In an enclosed space, proper ventilation is a must, and the fan must not be blocked.
• Keep it dry. Don't use it in rain or humid places. It operates at -13°F to 140°F (-25°C to 60°C).
• Size. It weighs 31 lbs and measures 18.9 x 5.5 x 11.8 in.

Common Questions

Can I Use Non-EcoFlow Solar Panels?

Yes. The three PV inputs work with any brand that meets the input specifications. For EcoFlow panels, each port takes up to 6S3P of 100W rigid or flexible panels, 4S1P or 2S2P of 400W rigid panels, or 3S1P or 2S2P of 400W foldable panels.

What Can the AC Output Run?

The AC output is rated at 3600W with 7200W surge and can power most home appliances. Check each appliance's power before use and keep the total AC load below the rated power.

Does Alternator Charging Work While Parked?

It runs only while the vehicle is moving unless you turn on idle charging in the EcoFlow app. It stops below 13V, 26V or 52V on 12V, 24V or 48V systems to protect the starter battery.

What If Several Charging Sources Are Connected?

The Power Hub charges from all of them, in the order solar, AC, alternator and Smart Generator. Total charging current at the battery port is limited to 100A, and lower-priority sources reduce or stop as needed.
