The EcoFlow RAPID Magnetic Power Bank is a magnetic power bank with Qi2 15W wireless charging, a built-in USB-C cable and a second USB-C port. This page offers two sizes: 5000mAh with up to 30W wired input and output, and 10000mAh with up to 65W plus a display and app control.
It suits iPhone users, commuters, travelers and remote workers who want to charge on the go without packing a cable.
Both sizes deliver Qi2-certified wireless charging at up to 15W, twice the 7.5W of Qi1 charging. The anti-slip magnetic grip holds the power bank on your phone, so you can keep using the phone while it charges.
The built-in USB-C cable and the USB-C port both work as input or output. The 5000mAh handles up to 30W wired and the 10000mAh up to 65W, and RAPID works with the PD3.0 protocol. The 10000mAh can charge two devices by wire at the same time.
With 30W input, EcoFlow rates both sizes to recharge from 0% to 70% in under 33 minutes. Recharge it through the built-in cable or the USB-C port.
Stand it upright on a desk to use your phone as a clock or for video calls, or lay it sideways to watch a movie hands-free. To use it as a stand only, double-press the button to turn off wireless charging.
The 10000mAh adds an LCD screen that shows battery level, input and output power and time to recharge. Over Bluetooth, the EcoFlow app turns on Healthy Charging Mode, shows port voltage, current, power and temperature, sounds a buzzer with Find My Device and lets you put your name or a pattern on the standby screen.
A heat dissipation structure and temperature checks 50 times per second work to reduce heat and slow battery aging.
Commuting. Snap it onto your iPhone and keep using the phone while it charges.
Travel. The built-in cable means one less cord in your bag, and the 5000mAh weighs 180 g.
Remote work. EcoFlow says RAPID charges most portable devices, including MacBooks, iPads, Kindles, fitness bands and earbuds.
Versus the other size. The 5000mAh is 14.4 mm thick, weighs 180 g and handles 30W wired. The 10000mAh is 23.4 mm thick, weighs 273 g and handles 65W wired, with a display, Bluetooth and app control. Both have 15W Qi2 wireless charging.
Versus a Qi1 wireless power bank. Qi1 wireless charging runs at 7.5W. RAPID's Qi2 wireless charging runs at up to 15W.
This may be a good fit if
EcoFlow says Qi2 wireless charging applies to iPhone 12 series and later. Android phones with Qi wireless charging can charge by resting on the power bank, and need a magnetic ring to attach.
For long-term storage of the 10000mAh, EcoFlow says to discharge it to 0% and recharge it to 60% every three months. If it isn't charged or discharged for more than 6 months, it isn't covered by the warranty.
Up to 2 years: 1.5 years by default, plus an extra half year when you sign up for an EcoFlow account.
