Faraday Defense High Saturation Ferrite Maximizes EMP Protection For Your Vehicle

Equip your vehicle with the ultimate defense against high-frequency electrical transients and EMP threats. The Faraday Defense High Saturation Ferrite Vehicle EMP Protection offers advanced shielding from electromagnetic interferences (EMI), designed specifically for vehicle applications where durability and reliability are essential. This premium high-saturation ferrite withstands significant current without compromising on protection, making it the ideal choice to safeguard your vehicle’s critical electrical components.

Electromagnetic interference poses a serious risk to modern vehicles, where even minor electrical disruptions can compromise functionality or damage sensitive systems. The Faraday Defense High Saturation Ferrite Vehicle EMP Protection not only minimizes EMI but also serves as a robust barrier against the dangers of EMPs, lightning, and high-frequency transients caused by load fluctuations. This isn’t just any ferrite – it’s specifically modified for higher saturation, meaning it supports greater current flow than standard ferrites, making it perfect for vehicle battery leads and other high-current applications.

Most ferrites lose effectiveness under high current, but the High Saturation Ferrite Vehicle EMP Protection is custom-engineered to handle the intense demands of vehicle systems. With the ability to resist high-current transients and a rugged build that stands up to potential nuclear EMPs, this ferrite is a game-changer for anyone looking to protect their vehicle’s electronic health and performance.

Frequently-Asked Questions

What are high-saturation ferrites?

Ferrites are devices that clamp around power wires to reduce high-frequency current transients. Most ferrites will saturate and stop providing protection when more than a couple of amps flow through the wires. The custom-made, high-saturation, auto ferrites sold here are modified to allow significantly more current through the part before saturating.

Ferrites can withstand any normal vehicle transient as well as a nuclear-generated EMP without damage.

When to use high-saturation ferrites?

Clip-on high-saturation ferrites are used in four scenarios:

  1. High current is flowing through the wires, and you can’t easily get to the ends of the wires to feed them through a toroid.
  2. High current is flowing through the wires, and a clip-on broadband ferrite is not large enough to go around the wire bundle.
  3. There is not enough space to fit a large toroid.
  4. The application is such that a solid, non-hinging ferrite is preferred.

High-saturation ferrites are available for the whole-house and automobiles.

When to use broadband ferrites?

Clip-on broadband ferrites are often used to protect small appliances and electronics (e.g., computers, TVs, etc.). They simply clip around the power cord. They can also be used on solar power generation wires and other applications where ease of application is desired.

When to use toroid ferrites?

Toroid ferrites are great to use when you can feed the wire bundle through the ferrite. A good example is when trying to protect solar power generation system batteries. Simply disconnect the leads from the battery, feed through the toroid and reattach the leads to the battery.

How to install ferrites?

Broadband ferrites clip around wire bundles.

High-saturation ferrites clip around individual high-current wires.

Toroid ferrites are placed around wire bundles by feeding the wires through.
