Faraday Defense JACKET Key Fob Faraday Dry Bag | Anti-Theft

The JACKET Key Fob Faraday Dry Bag Helps Stop Key Fob Relay Theft by Blocking Your Fob's Signal While Your Car Is Parked

The JACKET Key Fob Faraday Dry Bag from Faraday Defense is a slim pouch for car keys. Three layers of CYBER NC shielding fabric sit inside a black, water-resistant TPU outer layer, and the top closes with a double-fold magnetic closure. Faraday Defense rates the bag at more than 85 dB of attenuation from 400 MHz to 4 GHz. The interior measures 4.75 x 2.75 in.

It's made for drivers with keyless entry fobs. Thieves can boost a fob's signal near your house or in a parking area, then open the car and drive away. Faraday Defense designed this bag to block the signal so it can't be accessed and boosted while the car isn't in use.

JACKET Key Fob Faraday Dry Bag Features

Three Layers of CYBER Fabric Block the Signal

Inside the bag, three layers of CYBER NC fabric form a barrier against electromagnetic signals. Faraday Defense says the bag blocks key fob signals, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cell signals (including 5G networks), GPS and RFID, both to and from what's inside.

Water-Resistant TPU Outer Layer

The outside is a black, heavy-duty, water-resistant TPU layer that Faraday Defense describes as durable.

Double-Fold Magnetic Closure

The top folds over twice and holds shut with a magnetic closure. Faraday Defense describes it as tight and secure, yet easy to open when you need your keys quickly.

Low Profile That Expands

The slim design expands to fit bulky key fobs and key chains, so your fob can stay on its ring.

Real-World Applications

At home overnight. Drop your keys in the bag when you walk in the door, so the fob's signal is blocked while the car sits in the driveway.

Parking garages and lots. Close the fob in the bag after you lock the car and carry it while you're away.

Practical Comparison

JACKET Key Fob Bag Versus an Unlined Key Pouch

An unlined pouch keeps your keys together but doesn't block the fob's signal. The JACKET adds three layers of CYBER NC fabric inside a water-resistant outer layer.

JACKET Key Fob Bag Versus Aluminum Foil Wrap

Foil has to be rewrapped every time you use your keys. The JACKET opens and closes with a fold and a magnetic closure.

Buyer Guidance

Testing the Bag With Your Car

Put the fob in the bag, fold the top over twice and close the magnetic closure. Then stand next to your car and try the door. With the bag fully closed, the car shouldn't respond to the fob.

This May Be A Good Fit If

• Your car uses a keyless entry fob
• You park at home, in a garage or in public lots
• You want a slim bag for one set of keys
• You also carry cards or USB drives you want shielded

Common Questions

Will My Key Fob Fit?

The interior measures 4.75 x 2.75 in, and the bag expands to fit bulky key fobs and key chains. If your fob is unusually large, measure it first.

What Signals Does It Block?

Faraday Defense lists key fob signals, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cell signals including 5G networks, GPS and RFID, with more than 85 dB of attenuation from 400 MHz to 4 GHz.

Can I Use It for Anything Besides Keys?

Yes. Faraday Defense says it also works for credit cards, USB drives, SSDs and small hard drives.
