The Renogy 200W/400W Portable Solar Blanket is a multi-fold solar panel that packs down like a travel bag. The 400W blanket weighs 16.09 lbs and folds to 16.54 x 15.83 x 4.13 inches. The 200W blanket weighs 8.82 lbs and folds to 16.14 x 15.35 x 3.07 inches. Unfold it on the ground, drape it over a vehicle hood or windshield, or hang it from a truck camper or rope to catch the sun.

N-type cells reach 25% cell efficiency and generate about 3% to 7% more energy than PERC cells in the same conditions. The blanket charges portable power stations and, with a charge controller, 12V and 24V batteries. The 200W version adds one USB-C and two USB-A ports for charging phones and tablets directly. Both are IP65 rated and come with a shoulder strap and carry handle.

Why Is the Output Lower Than 200W or 400W?

Ratings are measured under standard test conditions. Real-world angle, heat, shading, wiring and device efficiency all lower output. Keep the blanket at a 90 degree angle to the sun with no shade for best results.
