Choosing the Fuse Size
Follow the fuse size in the manual for your charge controller, battery charger or inverter. Renogy's page also suggests a fuse rated at 1.25 times the maximum operating current, for example an 80A fuse for a 60A MPPT controller. Use a rating that matches your system's rated current and never install a mismatched fuse.
Installation Notes
Disconnect all power before installing or replacing a fuse, and wear insulating gloves. Use ring terminals sized for M8 studs and tighten the nuts to 70.8 inch pounds (8 N·m). Fuse cables are not included.
