The Renogy CORE Series 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 Battery with Low-Temperature Protection puts 3.84kWh of lithium iron phosphate storage into one battery, so a single unit can replace an old three-battery lead-acid setup. Both versions are rated for 5,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, use a 200A battery management system and can be expanded to a 61.44kWh bank.
Choose the 300Ah Mini for the lightest, most compact option. At 55.1 lbs and 15.12 x 7.64 x 9.96 inches, it is about 31% smaller than comparable 300Ah batteries and fits many 8D and 4D battery boxes. Choose the 300Ah Core (Self-Heating) if you camp, live or store your system where temperatures drop below freezing. Its 200W heating elements warm the cells so it can keep charging in the cold. Each version is offered in 1, 2 or 4 packs.
A single 300Ah battery delivers about three times the usable energy of a typical lead-acid setup with just two cable connections. With one battery there is no imbalance between batteries to manage.
The Mini weighs 55.1 lbs, about 57% less than a 12V 200Ah lead-acid battery and light enough for one person to carry. Its compact case leaves more room for wiring and maintenance.
The Core version's 200W heaters switch on at 32°F (0°C) when the battery receives a stable charge current above 10A, letting it charge in freezing weather.
Both versions include a BMS with low-temperature cut-off, so the battery protects itself in the cold without you having to shut it down manually.

Versus lead-acid batteries. A lead-acid bank of similar usable capacity weighs far more, needs maintenance and lasts a fraction as long.
