Fuse Rating
Black waterproof inline fuse holder with solar connector ends for a solar panel circuit

The Renogy Solar Connector Waterproof In-Line Fuse Holder with Fuse Protects a Solar Panel Circuit With Plug-and-Play Leads

The Renogy Solar Connector Waterproof In-Line Fuse Holder with Fuse is an inline fuse built into a waterproof holder. It has a solar connector lead on each end, so it works with an adapter kit and solar panel leads. Choose a 10 A, 15 A, 20 A or 30 A fuse.

It is made for solar owners who want extra protection on their system. Renogy designed the holder to give single circuit protection to your solar power array.

Renogy Solar Connector Waterproof In-Line Fuse Holder with Fuse Features

Fuse Protection for the Panels

Renogy says the fuses prevent large currents from damaging the solar panels. Pick the fuse rating that matches your circuit.

IP67 Waterproof Holder

Renogy lists IP67 class protection and calls the holder waterproof. The housing is PPO insulation material, flame class UL94-V0.

Plug-and-Play Solar Connectors

Male and female solar connector leads auto-lock for connections that are easy and reliable. Renogy says it works with PV cables of different insulation diameters.

Rated for 1000 V DC

Rated voltage is 1000 V DC. Renogy also lists protection class II and overvoltage category CAT III, with silver plated copper contacts.

Replaceable Fuse

Renogy lists that the fuse can be replaced, and the working temperature is -40°C to +125°C.

Real-World Applications

Solar panel strings. Add single circuit protection between panels and the rest of your system.

Adapter kit setups. Renogy says the lead ends make it compatible with an adapter kit and solar panel leads.

DC applications. Renogy designed it for a wide range of DC applications.

Practical Comparison

In-Line Fuse Holder Versus No Fuse

Without a fuse, a large current can reach the panel. A fuse is the part meant to open the circuit.

10A Versus 30A Options

The holder is the same across options. Only the fuse rating, 10 A, 15 A, 20 A or 30 A, changes.

Buyer Guidance

Choose the Fuse Rating for Your Circuit

Pick the rating for the circuit it protects, and stay within the 1000 V DC rating. Renogy does not give a sizing rule here. Ask an electrician if you are unsure.

This May Be A Good Fit If

  • You want a fuse on a solar panel circuit
  • Your leads use solar connectors
  • You want a replaceable fuse
  • You want IP67 protection outdoors

Common Questions

Can I replace the fuse?

Renogy lists the fuse as replaceable.

What connectors does it use?

Solar connectors, one on each end.

What is its voltage rating?

1000 V DC.
