Real-World Applications

Gate openers. Mount a single panel on a gate post or nearby pole to keep a gate battery charged.

Remote monitoring and cameras. Power a camera, sensor or communications box on a pole.

Cabins and sheds. Put a panel on a pole beside a small building to clear roof shade.

Farm and ranch equipment. Charge a battery for lights, fencing or pumps at a remote site.

How It Compares to Common Alternatives

Versus roof mounting. A roof mount uses existing roof space but may be shaded or hard to reach. A side pole mount puts the panel in open sun and keeps it easy to adjust.

Versus ground racking. Ground racks suit multi-panel arrays. The side pole mount is a compact option for a single panel up to 250W.

Versus tilt mounts. Roof tilt mounts angle a panel on a flat surface. The side pole mount attaches to a pole and offers a wider 15 to 90 degree tilt range.
