The SunGold CoreX 5 Elite Wall Mounted 48V 100AH Residential Energy Storage Battery Pack is a 51.2V, 100Ah LiFePO4 battery that stores 5.12kWh in a slim wall-hung case. It uses Tier-1 EVE Energy cells and has a color LCD on the front, plus Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for monitoring from your phone.
It is made for homeowners who want battery storage off the floor. The box includes the wall bracket, expansion bolts, power and communication cables, and rubber feet. Run one pack on its own or connect up to 15 in parallel for more storage.
The pack hangs from a wall-mounted bracket that fastens with four expansion bolts. Mounting holes are spaced 328 mm apart horizontally and 300 mm vertically. Rubber feet and a white edge protection strip are also included.
SunGold rates the pack to keep 80% of its capacity after 5000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge. The cells are Tier-1 EVE Energy LiFePO4, and the battery carries a 10-year warranty.
Use Bluetooth for local control with no account, or bind the pack to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for remote monitoring. The app shows voltage, current, temperature, SOC and SOH, and it can share access with another user through a QR code.
The front screen shows SOC, voltage, current, capacity and alarms. You can also view individual cell voltages and temperatures, and switch the display language in the settings menu.
The BMS tracks cell voltage, current and temperature in real time and calculates SOC and SOH. It protects against over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, short circuits, and high or low temperature, and it balances the cells.
Up to 15 packs can run in parallel. Each pack ships with parallel power and communication cables. Keep at least 10 cm between packs, and use a busbar if system current will exceed 100A.
Backup power for unstable grids. Keep household circuits running through outages with a compatible 48V inverter.
Solar self-consumption. Store your solar production and use it after sunset in areas with high power prices.
Time-of-use savings. Charge when rates are low and discharge when rates peak.
Homes with limited floor space. Mount the battery on a solid wall and keep the floor clear below it.
Versus a server rack battery. A rack battery needs a rack, cabinet or floor space. This pack mounts on a wall with the bracket in the box, and nothing may be placed beneath it.
Versus a battery without app monitoring. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth let you check charge level, alarms and cell data from your phone, at home or away.
Versus a lead-acid battery bank. This pack adds a BMS, inverter communication and remote monitoring, and SunGold rates it for 5000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge.

Drill four 14mm holes at least 60mm deep, fasten the bracket with the expansion bolts at 12 N·m, then lift the pack and hang it from the top of the bracket. Keep the bottom edge of the bracket parallel to the floor.
For local control, open the app and connect over Bluetooth, or scan the Bluetooth QR code on the pack. For remote access, register an account and add the pack to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
